This jewel of an island is located a quick 20 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle but is a paradise getaway from the bustle of life. The house, comfortable but elegant, has a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Puget Sound and a private deck where you can sit back and watch the sun rise or set. Please Note: Because of Covid-19, we stipulate one day between the departure of a guest and the arrival of the next guest to allow our housecleaner adequate time to safely clean the house.

Enjoy a completely remodeled, home on 5 forested acres with a year-round stream running just behind the home. It has all the joys of camping but all the features of a luxury bungalow, with new appliances, high speed internet, and upgraded bathrooms with soaking tubs. Welcome to the Vashon Beach House. Located on sought after sandy KVI Beach. No high bank bluffs or trails. This is the only waterfront house located at beach level in the area. The home has been in our family for over 100 years. The flavor is Northwest Beach while also trying to make your stay as comfortable as we can. Our home boasts hand-hewn original rustic beams, yet also offers full wifi, TV with Netflix / Amazon Prime/ Hulu: Sonos speakers.

A very safe and quiet single family residence neighborhood, not congested with traffic or people. It is located an easy drive or even a walk to restaurants, shopping, library and entertainment. It is very close to major roadways into the city of Seattle in 20 minutes and the SeaTac airport in 8 minutes and Light Rail. It is also very near to multiple parks and hiking trails as well as off-shore fishing spots.
