The condominium complex is very nice and family friendly. Jim was very helpful and extremely prompt on any requests and guidance for the area.

Gil and Bernie’s place at Pueblo Del Mar was great! Checkin was a breeze. The home was beautiful with everything we needed. Gil and Bernie were very responsive and answered any questions on the area that we needed help with. The unit is right across from the pool that our kids loved, and spent majority of their time in. Gil and Bernie had kids floaties for the pool and toys for the beach. This place is set up for a family of 4. Very clean, just like the pictures and the description. The air conditioners and fans worked well and kept the place cool in the hot Tamarindo weather. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and in a good location in Tamarindo, this is the place. We would book again when coming back to Tamarindo. Thanks for everything Gil and Bernie.

We spent a wonderful 12 days at Luca’s place. The garden and pool area was even more beautiful than we expected and we were thrilled with our little side courtyard and hammock. The house was nice inside and adequate for our needs. The walk to the beach is easy for fit adults and older kids, but a little challenging for younger children. Consider renting a golf cart if you don’t have a car. We appreciated how we were close to groceries stores, coffee shops and restaurants and yet slightly removed from the nightlife noise. We would absolutely stay again if we get a chance to come back!

We have an incredible stay at Villa Tranquila. The pool and patio area are private, spacious and offer a stunning view of Playa Hermosa. The house was very clean with spotless tile flooring throughout, large en-suite bathrooms, very well stocked kitchen and supplies. Deborah was quick to respond to things that came up - the safe was repaired quickly and an empty propane tank was replaced within minutes of reporting it. Deborah gave us ideas on activities and restaurants and Fernando the property manager is friendly and cheerful. I agree with others that a 4 wheel drive vehicle is needed for steep streets. We will recommend this property to others and will stay here again if we ever return to Costa Rica.

The unit is close to everything. Grocery store is just a short walk, the beach a short walk and lots of restaurants to pick from. Every evening we had margaritas on the beach watching the beautiful sunset. Tamarindo is one of our favorite places in the world and this was a good place to stay with a pool, beach towels, washer and dryer, good kitchen and comfortable living area. Note to anyone renting this unit, if you don't do stairs realize there are three stories of tiled steps to the top master bedroom, which we didn't mind even though we are seniors as it's good exercise. It's a great bedroom with AC and a balcony and bathroom. We were very comfortable there. The rental agency is super helpful and quickly responsive. We had our transport from the airport set up with them and when our shuttle was late, we just called Kattia and she took care of it promptly. Even an email on Sunday morning was answered within minutes. Ellen is a person you can trust. The location is fantastic.

Had an amazing stay! Josue was incredibly proactive and helpful throughout, always keeping us informed and making sure everything went smoothly. His recommendations were spot-on! The location was super central—right by all the main spots and great restaurants. The only minor drawback was the steep uphill walk to the villa. It’s doable on foot, but can feel like a lot after a night out—I’d recommend renting a golf cart if you’re not up for the climb. Also, the water pressure in the first-floor bedroom was a bit weak, but aside from that, it was a wonderful place!

The house was beautiful, just like the photos. Our host Fabrizio was outstanding! He was so extremely helpful throughout our whole stay. The house is close to the main street so, we didn't have to go far to the grocery store or restaurants. We opted not to rent a car and use Uber. That was wonderful, the only issue was some drivers weren't extremely familiar with the address but when we learned to tell tell them, when you go up the hill make the first left, it was much easier. Overall, wonderful and relaxing stay. Thank you!

Ilya was very friendly and met us for check in. He showed us around the unit and provided great local food and drink recommendations. Immediately responded to all messages. Our stay was short but would stay again.

Our stay was great from start to finish! It was a super easy check-in process and easy to find the place. Both Erika and her property manager were extremely responsive, and constantly communicated with us for any potential issues. This made things very easy. Erika also gave a huge list of recommendations for restaurants, bars, activities in the area, which was very helpful! The apartment was also in a great location, walkable from great food spots, the beach, etc. The apartment itself is also extremely comfortable and spacious, given that it is two floors. We had such a lovely stay here!!

We had an amazing stay at Scott’s condo, mid-way through our Costa Rican tour. It was a chance to relax and unwind in a beautiful condo will all amenities we could wish for, especially the washer. Great pool in the courtyard of the condos. Very close to the beach and 20 minute walk to the centre of town. A few bars, registrants and a supermarket on the way to town, so even closer. Scott gave us a great welcome, showing us around and giving us ideas to do in the area. He also followed this up with some great recommendations, including an amazing waterfall not far away. The condo was perfect for our family of four, with space to spread out and everything we needed, including loads of towels. The kitchen was fully equipped and Scott had even kindly put some drinks in the fridge for us. Could not recommend this property more highly, it was perfect.

This was an absolutely villa located in the very friendly and walkable Las Catalinas resort community. The resort staff greeted us with young coconuts to sip, escorted us to our villa (and sent our luggage by cart), and gave us a thorough overview of the offerings in the area. The concierge desk was easily reachable through apps and gave flawless service arranging tours, restaurant reservations, whatever we needed! The resort offers plenty of restaurant and recreation options, and unexpected amenities like being able to borrow the electric vehicle for two hours at bo charge. The private beach had soft black sand and the entire property was extremely well-groomed. The villa was immaculate, beautifully designed and maintained. My only complaint was we could not figure out how to turn off the somewhat loud courtyard fountain, but it became white noise as we grew accustomed to it. I would highly recommend this unit and Las Catalinas as a restaurant destination!

Je recommande fortement ce beau logement pour un séjour en famille à Tamarindo! Très bien situé, à distance de marché de tout et aussi, dans un quartier paisible et sécuritaire! Un gardien est présent en tout temps pour le confort des résidents. Le logement est vraiment bien équipé, et très pratique avec la laveuse-sécheuse ainsi que le BBQ. La piscine extérieure est un must pour relaxer après une journée à la plage. Je retournerais y séjourner sans aucune hésitation!!

Kathleen’s place is really beautiful. The views from the decks are amazing. The kitchen was great. Everything you needed. New shiny appliances. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms and the main floor was the perfect temp with the ocean breezes. Great showers with plenty of hot water. We loved being right on the beach. It is a big place where we were all able to find our own place to be. The beach is lovely, good waves for boogie boarding and jumping waves. There are kayaks to use which is nice as well. Great restaurants on the beach that you can walk to on the beach. We went to the Beach House and it was delicious! I highly recommend Kathleen’s place!

The place was very clean and modern. Had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Host was very responsive. The shared pool is beautiful!

Kapi Kapi was easy to find and Jeremias was super responsive. There was a misunderstanding on which unit it was because the code wasn’t working. Also the AC but the instructions on how to use it, is in the booklet right under the TV. Jeremias responded right away to rectify this. Would highly recommend Jeremias place. Which is in a gated community. The view from the pool at Arenal Volcano is awesome! We got to see the tip of the Volcano a few times from Kapi Kapi. It’s close to supermarkets, La Fortuna town, restaurants. This is a keeper! We stayed 4 nights. We really enjoyed our stay at Kapi Kapi (Capi Capi is hello in Maleku). We found this out on a tour 😁 Pura Vida! ❤️

Una casa amplia y muy cómoda, tiene una piscina preciosa. Un lugar perfecto para relajarse y olvidarse un poco de nuestra rutina diaria. Falta un poquitín de mantenimiento en baños y lavar el sofá principal, pero son pequeñas cosas que no hacen que uno deje de disfrutar tan bella estancia.

We had a wonderful week in CR! One of our best vacations! The location of the condo unit was perfect - next to the nicest pool. It felt like a small neighbourhood community where everyone’s friendly, sociable and shares information. Outside the porch is a huge nance fruit tree that dropped fruits that look like golden berries but have a weird taste. The complex staff come by regularly to pick them up and eat them, and it also attracted iguanas so we got to see a few big ones up close. They’re cautious around people so they don’t come too close. The sound of all the different bird calls in the early morning was incredible. Sometimes you can hear monkeys in the distance during the night. The highlight of our trip was the sunset catamaran snorkelling booze cruise. We would have gone twice if time permitted. We’ll have to come back since in a week we didn’t get to do everything we wanted to. The owners and their local guy Luis are amazing!

We had the absolute perfect stay at Shannon's beautiful property in Playa Hermosa! The view from the primary bedroom on the second floor was sublime and the pictures of the listing do not do it justice! Pristine linens, clean, quiet, private, and a great kitchen to cook if you wanted to do so! Awesome plunge pool off the first floor balcony! We didn't cook much but explored some of the local restaurants - the ceviches at Marisco on the beach was amazing and the best I had in Costa Rica! Pura Vida Juice Bar for great healthy smoothies and Ginger for great cocktails and small appetizers plates! The property is located with an easy walk to the beautiful uncrowded, calm beach, perfect for swimming and cooling off. Shannon and Michael were the perfect hosts, always helpful, and available to answer any question!
