Beautiful Setting. Very helpful with restaurants. We went to Tulli's Tap House minutes away from the house. It was wonderful. The room was huge and comfortable with a bed, a sitting area, and a large TV.

Nice, cozy, clean and beautiful place to enjoy the beach nearby. The hospitality of the managers is unparalleled.

Leslie and her husband were the best hosts one could ask for. I was in town on a work trip and they were very flexible and accommodating to my schedule which made my days in the area much more enjoyable. They were gracious, giving and kind hosts and would 10000% recommend them. I will definitely be back in the future to stay longer!

Hi folks, if you need to adjust your Loveline, please visit Doree’s place, and you will see how love grows. She passionately decorated her studio apartment, where you will find all the ingredients for love to grow. I came from NYC, about a two-hour drive to Doree’s peaceful location. We enjoyed a beach day and a fishing day, and we visited the beautiful Gillette castle.

The Museum House is a fascinating and comfortable retreat in a beautiful section of New London. Spacious, clean and well-cared for accommodations, wonderful art, quiet surroundings, beautiful grounds. The caretaker James was exceptional with a warm welcome, acquainting us with the house as well as local history and areas of interest. There if we needed him, but otherwise we were left to ourselves. We had a relaxing time and highly recommend it!

if i could give 100 stars i would! my friend and I came for a peaceful retreat but we left with so much encouragement and new friends. Tom was ready with local recommendations and was accommodating to our needs! Kate was such a joy and the pinnacle hospitality. these are people we want in our lives forever! when we are back in the area they will be our first call!!

We loved our stay at the Museum House. The caretaker, James, was wonderful, and helpful in every way. The house is an absolute delight. We will definitely stay there every time we visit Connecticut in the future. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place! It’s beautiful inside and outside, and filled with history and art. Evan is a perfect host, friendly, attentive to details, communicative, and thoughtful. He is an amazing cook and even made our breakfasts vegan after we told him our diet was plant based. I was there on my birthday and he put a birthday candle in my breakfast on that day! The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had a fireplace and a tub with jets which was so nice to come back to in winter. Everything was clean and you can tell he has thought about everything needed to make guests comfortable. He is a dog lover as well and has two sweet dogs that we were happy to meet. We had our dog with us and the property is nice to walk around with the dog and beautiful even in winter and there are plenty of places nearby to hike or walk. This was one of the best air bnb’s we have stayed in. We loved the place and felt so welcomed and will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to book this plac

Airbnb was perfect distance to many of the attractions. Joanne left many amazing recommendations for restaurants and attractions that we added many stops to our weekend trip. Apartment was cozy, clean and on a very peaceful area.

We stayed during fall and were able to take advantage of the fire pit. There was plenty of kindling to gather nearby and the fire under the stars was very peaceful. It was starting to get chilly during our stay and the log space heater was a very nice touch. Guest book includes a number of helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. A lot of small extra touches made our stay very comfortable. We would recommend for anyone wanting a more rural feel away from the other tourists while exploring mystic.

This place was as described. I wouldn’t change my rating for these 2 things but…the location is really too far from Mystic to casually walk there. Also the home is very close to a major highway and the noise was pretty loud and did keep me up at night. Not a deal breaker but if you need quiet to sleep it’s a consideration! The space was clean and comfortable and Susan is very communicative! Very nice that she stocks the kitchen with necessities for breakfast including some delicious homemade muffins!

This was a lovely air B&B, in a beautiful, quiet location, yet close to the town of Niantic (10 minute, easy drive), as well as gorgeous regional parks. We had a wonderful stay here, and our host made everything easy and clear. The suite was fresh-feeling and very clean. Kitchen area was well-supplied and exactly as described. Linens and bed felt like hotel. We had glorious weather, and with the special “perk” of kayaks on-site, we went up the adjacent tidal estuary twice, and were treated to osprey fishing, kingfishers on the banks, cormorants and ducks, a bluebird(!), herons and egrets, and peace and quiet. What a spot! We also got to explore Niantic, with a sunset meal on a restaurant deck, overlooking the water. We walked, biked, and hiked in several parks around the area, with gorgeous beaches, wetlands, and woodlands. Thanks to the location, I think we saw the best of this area, which we'd never been to before. Plus we discovered the renowned bakery/cafe, Sift. Perfect!

This was a beautiful stay, one of my favorites ever, and we’re super grateful to Katrina and Dee for making it so. From having a beautiful space to roam around in, a hot tub, a bonfire and the KAYAKING-which was amazing and easy to navigate as a first timer- there was so much about this place that makes me grateful we found it. It’s not to be missed!

Evan called us to give us the instruction on how to check in and what to expect before we arrived. The next morning a gourmet breakfast was provided by him that was elegant and so heartfelt. Everything he made for us was from scratch and fresh! Farm to table! We had an extraordinary quiche with cheeses his sister brought home from Italy! Outstanding!

We stayed here recently because we had a trip at the casino planned. We felt right at home. Rooms were cozy and comfortable very clean. John was accommodating knowledgeable and very responsive. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Next time we plan on going up to the casino and spending the night, we would book again. Yes, girl.

John's place was great and they were super friendly and helpful! They've clearly done a lot of work to renovate the space thoughtfully. Mind you the stairs to 2nd floor if you stay up there, are very narrow and steep, may be challenging for those w/mobility limitations but if you're aware of/ok with that- it's no sweat. The room was beautiful w/a great view and linens were soft and of good quality. Being a house from the 1800's you can certainly hear others really well but it wasn't a huge issue for us. I look forward to seeing it again someday when the work is done on the vineyard, brewery and water access! SUPER close to Foxwoods if you're in to go to the casino/see a show, super short drive or Lyft/Uber ride, 7min away.

My husband and I needed a quick rendezvous due to our busy schedules and both working Vday weekend. This was our 2nd time at Abbeys Lantern Hill. So close to great amenities especially the quaint charming town of Mystic. It’s the perfect little cozy getaway. Quiet and just far enough from NYC. The place is absolutely pristine and clean, in a beautiful and serene area. Erika is lovely. We will surely be “regulars”. Thank you!
