Take a curated two-hour walking tour with us, the founders of Giv Studios, through Lower Manhattan’s vibrant design hubs. We’ll explore galleries and showrooms that highlight the city’s dynamic art scene. • Begin the journey at Raisonné, a contemporary design gallery specializing in contemporary and historical works. Programming focuses on pioneering voices from the past with an emphasis on mid-century French and radical Italian design. • A 14-minute walk scenic walk brings us to Egg Collective, an NYC based showroom and furniture store. It represents he perfect blend of contemporary craftsmanship, timeless design, and female-led creativity in the city’s thriving design scene. • Then we will head to to R & Company, a multi-room furniture and art gallery that captures the energy of New York’s creative scene through its contemporary design exhibitions that feature emerging and established designers and artists. • We’ll then end the tour at Quarters, a concept furniture shop and cafe centered on understated luxury and curated design. The store embodies an ethos of intentionality and quality, making it a haven for those who value aesthetics and sustainability. Visit Manhattan's movie locations with a filmmaker

Take a walk through Midtown Manhattan filming locations with me, a location scout and manager. I’ll share my inside knowledge on finding, securing, and delivering the perfect settings to create unforgettable scenes on the big screen. • Walk to the Central Park locations of the taxi sequence from Die Hard With a Vengeance, and then to the fountain where Adam Sandler took his infamous swim in Uncut Gems. • At Carnegie Hall, I’ll reveal the locations used in Maestro, including the apartment building across the street, where Leonard Bernstein once lived. In the Diamond District, we’ll visit various diamond exchanges and I’ll explain why we chose one over the others for Uncut Gems. • Finally, head to Times Square to discuss the empty scene in Vanilla Sky and the crowded scene in Birdman, including a Broadway theater and Bar. You’ll leave with an insider’s understanding of the locations process, as well as an appreciation for its role in creating memorable films.

Before Stonewall: A queer walking tour of Greenwich Village

Join a journalist on a walking tour of Greenwich Village, visiting the homes and haunts of LGBTQ+ writers who lived, worked or were incarcerated in the decades before the Stonewall riots. • We'll meet up near the site of Eve's Hangout, considered by some to be the first lesbian bar in New York City and whose proprietor holds a special place in queer literary history. As we walk to other historic sites we'll hear more about the nightlife scene of the early 20th century, and how luminaries like Audre Lorde and Lorraine Hansberry navigated queer life. • We'll visit the former site of the Women’s House of Detention, which housed many incarcerated queer people, and I'll share its relevance to early LGBTQ+ life in the Village. • After stops to honor and consider other queer women whose literary works left lasting impressions on both our culture and the literary canon, we'll conclude at Henrietta Hudson, a lesbian bar open since 1991, to talk about present-day LGBTQ+ life in New York and beyond. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the lives of LGBTQ+ people whose work, activism and bravery led to the modern queer rights movement, and I'll send you on your way with a list of further readings if you'd like to continue learning about this fascinating era! The tour has a bathroom break at the halfway mark, and we'll walk about 1.5 miles in total.

On this tour, we’ll explore Independence National Historical Park and the Old City neighborhood to see a plethora of historical landmarks! Along the way, your guide will keep you posted on the history of these sites and fill you in on all kinds of useful info for your visit to Philly. Next, we’ll head to the Museum of American Revolution, which offers an incredible look at the stories, artifacts, and people that shaped the American Revolution. We’ll go inside to see a presentation of George Washington’s War Tent ( when your tour is over, you’ll be able to get a discounted ticket to see the rest of the museum). As we walk through Old City, we’ll also pass by some favorite sites such as Elfreth’s Alley (the oldest continuously-occupied residential street in the entire US), showcasing incredible architecture dating back to the early 1700s, the Betsy Ross House, named after a famous seamstress and flag maker who is said to have sewn the first ever American flag, Benjamin Franklin’s Grave (bring a penny to toss!), and the outdoor President’s House Landmark where Washington and Adams lived.

This tour will give you lots of ideas & spots to go for the rest of your NYC trip! We’ll meet in Bryant Park for this two hour experience. Our last stop of the tour is the cheapest bar in the neighborhood, which has a full bar, jukebox & free New York City hot dogs! This unique three-part, 3 hours walking tour will begin where Manhattan began - at the National Museum of the American Indian. Each part of the tour will last approximately 1 hour. This first leg of the tour will start in Lower Manhattan. Specifically, Bowling Green, where the first enslaved Africans started building the infrastructure of the city, and end at Wall St. where the enslaved Africans were brought and sold. The second leg of the tour will start in the Financial District. We will walk up Wall St to Federal Hall - a site next to a famous free African who owned and operated a famous Oyster House in 1825. The last leg will start around the Brooklyn Bridge, including the African Burial Ground National Monument plaza. This tour is great for groups, team-building, and field trips, and it's especially beneficial for school-age children. Depending on the mood and convenience of the group, we can stop for snacks at any time. Each location is based on a specific chapter in my book. There will be several restroom breaks. Please note that finding parking is extremely difficult in Lower Manhattan. Indoor garages will cost between $35-40. I advise using public transportation or car service.

This is a 420-friendly tour sponsored by Storz & Bickel, and guests will have access to their premium portable vaporizer, the Venty. We'll head over to St. John the Divine, the world's 5th largest cathedral, over 130 years old. We'll pass Tom's Restaurant, the famous "Seinfeld Diner." Then, we'll stroll through Morningside Park to Central Park, where we'll check out the Harlem Meer and the Conservatory Garden. We will then board the subway and head down to 34th St. We'll come to the Hudson Yards, home of the Vessel - an otherworldly art installation perfect for photo opportunities. Then, we'll explore Mercado Little Spain, an authentic Spanish market and eatery featuring the delicious diversity of foods and drinks from all corners of one of the richest culinary countries in the world. Then, we'll walk the High Line, a beautiful elevated park built from the ruins of a train track, now saturated with flora and art installations. This will lead us to Little Island, a thoroughly unique park constructed right on the Hudson. We end our tour at the Chelsea Market, original home of the Oreo cookie.
