Excellent stay once again at Croft end, our second time here. Perfect peace and solitude for our 25th wedding anniversary.

Wonderful cottage, roomy, peaceful, and squeaky clean. Beautiful location too - highly recommended.

Wir wollten zum Wandern nach Schottland, waren aber auch in Culloden und bei "Nessie". Als Ausgangspunkt für die Highlands und die Cairngorms war das Haus in Rosemarkie ein tolles Quartier. Auf dem Rückweg von unseren Wanderungen haben wir das, was wir brauchten, im Coop in Fortrose gefunden. Abends auf einen Sprung in den Pub "The Plough Inn" war jedesmal schön, auch oder gerade durch nette Gespräche mit dort Anwesenden. Im Haus waren zentrale Punkte für uns der Wintergarten zum Frühstück und zum Abendessen, sowie das gemütliche Wohnzimmer mit Sofa, Sesseln und Kaminofen. Wir hatten nur gutes Wetter, aber bei schlechtem Wetter ist das Haus ein gemütliches Zuhause im Urlaub. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war völlig unproblematisch. Auf Fragen ist sofort reagiert worden. Es gab keinerlei Probleme und die Mails waren alle sehr herzlich. Trotz des großen Parkplatzes und des Pubs war es sehr ruhig und wir haben auch immer wiedermal im Garten gesessen. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub.

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

My husband and I and our 20 year old daughter had a wonderful stay at Butler Cottage. The estate grounds are amazing with a mix of woodland and farm fields scattered over the hills. We enjoyed daily walks done and along the river. If your animal lovers like we are it was extra special. The Highland cows and sheep add beauty to the scenery, but the deer, hares, pheasants and other birds of prey really add the wow factor. The cottage is full of charm with an old world feel. It’s been very smartly renovated and decorated and is in great condition. We loved the farmhouse style kitchen which is open to a comfortable living room with high ceilings. The built in beds are beautifully done and although on the small side we enjoyed the authentic touch. The wood stoves on each end of the cottage work well to add extra warmth in the evenings. Ross was a gracious host. The place was with fresh flowers and a basket of fresh goods from the farm. He even had the fire started for the hot tub.

Jackie and Stevie were the perfect hosts. Tranquil Cottage was beautiful, had more than expected, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and washing spotless. Set just 30 seconds from the harbour and local pub. Couldn't fault the place or Jackie as a host. We will definitely be back

We had a lovely holiday in Boat of Garten with our kids (7 and 2). The cottage was perfect for our needs - plenty of space for the four of us, but still cosy, and within easy reach of everything the areas offers. We actually didn't end up using the garden much as we were out and about a lot but it's gorgeous and opens right onto the woods behind which was very magical for two city kids. Anderson's restaurant right next door was a bit of a bonus, too, since we could have dinner with the kids and then be home in 30 seconds! The sauna was a fabulous suprise (they hadn't installed it when we booked so we only found out on arrival) and we enjoyed using that after long days walking and carrying our toddler on our shoulders! Laura was super friendly and responsive, including posting my car key back to me after I stupidly left it in the bedside drawer. All in all, a great experience, and would thoroughly Laura's place, particularly to families.

Amazing host, who completely made us feel at home. Couldn't of asked for better communication and as for the property , unbelievable. Prime location, and to have an extra warm sauna, extra cold cold plunge, working jacuzzi and games room is almost unheard of. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Oli

A beautiful and relaxing home to have a perfect break. The host, Maureen has created one of the best Airbnb's we have ever used. Great communication and easy access. The home is high end furnished, comfortable and in a peaceful location. The garden was perfect to relax after long walks. The enclosed space perfect for our dog. Nice touch having tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. Aviemore centre was a 10 minute walk away and short drive to Rothiemurchus leading to a wonderful forest walk to Loch an Eilein. Just further along the road is Loch Morlich. Stunning in the sunshine with marked walking trails around the area. We will definitely use again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Aviemore area.

Loved this fisherman’s cottage. Bigger than I had anticipated and a real home from home with everything you might need provided. Comfy beds! Appreciated the enclosed back garden for my two dogs to get a quick toilet break, although the beach across the road meant most times we wanted to head there again and enjoy the amazing beach views! Brett was very helpful and always communicated quickly. This trip was too short - we will be back! So much to see and do in the surrounding area.

Fantastic holiday in Jeana’s cosy cottage. We enjoyed our holiday immensely. We absolutely love the area, and the cottage was perfect for our needs: private, cosy, comfortable with lots of room outside. The owners were warm and friendly and helpful. Very nice people. We’d happily visit again.

Absolutely lovely cottage. Judi was extremely helpful and responded so quickly. Absolutely amazing shower and the location is gorgeous!

Gorgeous well located cottage, opposite the Lochness hub (info centre) & bang in the middle of the village next to the green. Kate is a lovely responsive host, who adds a personal touch. It was the first time a host left dog treats, tennis ball, blankets & bowls for our dog too, which was so lovely. The cottage is well equipped, charming, with lovely decor. Garden to right is an absolute sun-trap, we could sit out in T-shirts in April with a beer. We spent most of our days hiking 13k+, first we did from the cottage, second drove to Glen Affric. We had a beautiful take out from the Chinese & brought back pizza from the Italian. The Fiddler’s won’t allow dogs in, you must sit outside so we only did lunch there, but one night we had a lovely meal (booked ahead) at the Lockness inn 15 min walk away. If we’d been back from hiking sooner the cafe on the green would have been a good option too, it serves beer & has a nice garden. You won’t regret booking this gem, Thanks Kate :)

What a fabulous little find, cosy cottage fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bed was so comfortable had a great nights sleep. Great location for shops and food. House was spotlessly clean and fab complimentary toiletries. Host was good communicator and was good to know they were available and on hand if needed which we didnt as everything was perfect. Good base for exploring Ballater , Braemar and the surrounding area including Lochnagar.

The location was walkable to local shops and restaurants and hiking trails. Harbor and beach was a stones throw away. Very clean and cozy. The beds were so comfy with high quality bed linens. Enjoyed our stay.

Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

Ann-Marie's Cosy Cottage was a excellent base for exploring the Cairngorms region. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable and very peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Jacobite Bar and Grill in Kingussie (thanks to Ann-Marie's recommendation). We recommend Cool Cosy cottage in the Highlands.

We had a fantastic few days at Nanas Cottage. David and Louise have provided everything you would want for a visit to Findhorn. The cottage was super clean with all mod cons, nothing lacking. Shop and bakery very handy a stones throw away. Would highly recommend at stay here. We were fortunate to have amazing weather too! Thank you.

We have just returned from a weekend away at Braeside Cottage. The cottage was beautifully furnished and super clean. Andreas and Karen have put so much love and attention into this wonderful cottage and their hospitality was fantastic with homemade shortbread, fresh flowers, a few basics and a bottle of Prosecco awaiting our arrival. On the morning of our departure Andreas arrived with freshly made scones and set out the table and chairs in the garden for us to enjoy them in the beautiful surroundings . He was extremely flexible regards an early checkin and later departure allowing us a little more time to spend enjoying Pitlochry. All in all a wonderful experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending Braeside Cottage, hope to return again soon. With grateful thanks Marie & John Duffy.

Simply put , this is the most beautiful setting one could imagine for a private place to stay in the Highlands . The combination of views , the accommodation, the coziness , the walking , and of course the graciousness of the hosts was just outstanding . Hope it never changes …We will be back for sure !

Hele fijne tijd gehad. We hadden een klein probleempje met ons matras en dit is meteen opgelost door de host. Super huisje, we waren graag nog langer gebleven. Wat een fijne plek! Echt een aanrader voor natuurliefhebbers. Nogmaals dank voor de fijne tijd🫶
