The Wheelhouse Inn - CROW'S NEST

The Crow's Nest is a standalone unit situated at the top of the property. It is the most spacious of our 5 accommodations with the biggest views. Every room has spectacular views over Tasman Bay to the ranges in the west. The Crow's Nest has 2 bedrooms ... the master with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, stove, fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, sugar and a full range of crockery and cutlery. From there you can move to the dining room or out on to the spacious balcony which has a bbq and outdoor seating for casual dining. The lounge has a flat screen tv, dvd and there is Free WIFI. The bathroom is upstairs with the master bedroom and has a shower, toilet and also a washing machine and dryer. Free parking is directly outside your accommodation and the whole unit is surrounded by native bush.

Plum Cottage - charming tiny house near the beach

Inspired by the tiny house movement, the cottage packs a big punch. Constructed with native timbers, Plum Cottage integrates beautifully with the landscape. The cottage is privately nestled amongst the plum trees and gardens. Feel free to pick some tomatoes or a juicy plum! Summer sunsets are lovely. Located on the Tahunanui hillside with views to the distant mountains. It is an easy 1.3 km walk to the beach (15 min) or 5 min drive. CBD is 6km away (12/15 min drive). Bus stop is 13m walk.

The Lookout

Uniquely situated on a rural property that sits above Nelson and just a short drive from both Nelson Airport and Nelson City centre. Located up a winding, private, gravel driveway approx 1km from the road **MAX 20km speed limit on this winding, gravel driveway!. ‘The Lookout' is separate from our home (located at the far end of our double garage) self-contained and completely private. Our cozy unit features a private deck, queen bed, ensuite and kitchenette. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

The entire apartment has recently been renovated, offering a fresh new look, comfy bed, full kitchen and laundry facilities, and free tea and coffee, making your stay enjoyable and easy. Inner City Charm is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

Parkview Cottage - stroll to town

Welcome to our well appointed private, sunny sleep out with large deck, park views, ensuite bathroom, fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. A short stroll to city hub, bus depot and Trafalgar Centre with a supermarket just down the street. The Airport bus stops just around the corner every 30 minutes, seven days a week. (It stops near Tahunanui Beach on the way too.) Self check-in is offered and often early check-in or late check-out can be arranged.

Priest Retreat:Private&tranquil groundfloor studio

The 'Retreat': is a family run designer studio flat with access to a cottage garden, inviting you to sit out and relax in...seasonal honey from our own beehive. Tucked away and private at the foot the Grampians it's just 10 minute walk to the heart of Nelson city. Great spot for mountain bikers, trampers and workshop attenders. Ask if you have any questions- entry time, one night,extra bed. Currently no pets allowed, garden is unsuitable presently.

Air fryer, Electric fry pan, Microwave, electric jug, cutlery, plates etc. Tea, Coffee, Milk, Juice and Breakfast cereal provided. Dining table but no washing machine. Compact, Self contained, clean, quiet, comfortable and 10 mins walk to City Centre. Surrounded by trees but still has a unique uninterrupted view of the Port and City.

It spills out onto a landscaped garden with a tree-lined patio looking over Fifeshire Rock and ranges. It's one of the most beautiful spots in Nelson. Steep climb from the road, up steps and boardwalks. We suggest a pack, not a suitcase.
