Located in the charming Suffolk village of Horringer, with direct access to a stunning NT park, House of Wilde offers a luxurious stay with ample garden space. A truly unique retreat offering high quality accommodation for up to 5 adults. We also have a small fold up bed and a travel cot for little ones. Extra amenities include board games, books, table tennis and a dressing up box. The perfect staycation for families or the perfect tranquil environment for solo travellers of work or pleasure.

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

The Rabbit Hutch - charming country cottage.

Our charming rural retreat has flexible accommodation for 6/7 adults PLUS small children. Modern kitchen & bathroom. Private staircases lead to Bedroom 1 - double bed + single Zedbed on request. Bedroom 2 - twin beds. Both have en-suite WCs. The Garden Room is EITHER Bedroom 3 (with kingsize bed OR 2 singles) OR an additional sitting room. Travel Cot available for our younger guests! Sitting Room has a log burner for WINTER evenings. Secure, private, sunny rear garden with lawn and patios.

The Garden Studio in the Heart of Bury St Edmunds

The Studio consists of 2 rooms: Bedroom with double bed on the GROUND FLOOR, with WC/Shower. UPSTAIRS sitting room, TV, sofa. IMPORTANT: THERE is NO KITCHEN only mini fridge and microwave for OCCASIONAL USE. The Studio has private entrance from the GARDEN door on the right of the main house, with a secluded walled courtyard with decking NOTE: 1. there is NO GUARANTEED parking nearby. 2 there are several steep/uneven steps, so it’s NOT suitable if you have mobility limitations.

Newly Thatched Buttercup Cottage, Hartest

Buttercup is a newly thatched cottage situated in the picturesque village of Hartest, Suffolk. A large private garden with a footbridge across the stream leads to the open countryside and endless footpaths. One of which takes you to the superb village pub, only a 4 minute walk away and renowned for its great food and their own brewed craft beers. The beautiful historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, and villages Long Melford and Lavenham are just a short drive away.

Renovated Stables - Tawny Lodge

Set in the outskirts of the beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds, enjoy a perfect getaway at Tawny Lodge in the heart of Suffolk. Tawny Lodge is a converted stables adjacent to the Old Coach house and backs onto our beautiful 17th century Grade 2 listed house with a courtyard in between. Set in parkland just opposite Nowton Park, Tawny Lodge is only a five minute drive from the vibrant market town centre of Bury St Edmunds, or a scenic 45 minute walk.

The Little Owl Suffolk - Boutique Getaway

A romantic getaway for two, or a peaceful hideaway for some space on your own. The property is on its own private land and is not a shared space with the owners, or overlooked. The downstairs space includes a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and the upstairs has a cosy living space with log burner and bedroom.

The Old Stables

The Old Stables is a charming self contained annex to the front of our property with free parking on premises. Situated in a quiet location near The Grange Hotel and within approx half of a mile walking distance into Thurston Village. We live in the main house which is attached to the annex with our two quiet dogs. We are generally on hand to help with any questions or advise on the local area.
