Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

I have visited Gangtok several times, and previously, I preferred hotels near MG Marg. This trip was different; I planned a road trip to Sikkim with my wife and daughter, so I needed a place in Gangtok with parking. This property met all my requirements, so I booked it. Upon check-in, my expectations for Airbnbs and homestays were exceeded. The cleanliness was exceptional, every item was perfectly placed, and all amenities were provided. The mountain view from my room was breathtaking. We were welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cookies. We had pre-ordered lunch, and our host prepared a wonderful chicken dish with homemade chutney, which surpassed my expectations. Our host was incredibly helpful. Whenever I return to Gangtok, I will certainly book this property again.

What an amazing stay, we couldn’t have wished for a more secluded and private week. The food was amazing and we were completely taken care of. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious and we loved playing badminton out in the garden. We cannot thank you enough for such a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone considering of staying at La Ipsing.

We had a great stay at this homestay. The homecooked food (we had breakfast and dinner) was very tasty and authentic. The communication with our waem and friendly host was very reliable. Superhost! Our stay at this homestay in Gangtok was truly wonderful! The property is beautifully maintained and equipped with all the amenities one could need. Nestled amidst nature, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but it's worth the journey. The host was incredibly polite, welcoming, and eager to help, making us feel right at home. We were lucky to visit during Diwali and got to learn so much about the local culture and traditions, which added a unique touch to our experience. Highly recommended!

Soyang's a great host. Very responsive & clear in communication. Entire staff was very helpful and supportive. They even arranged a cute date night setup on a very short notice. Had a promising and relaxing 2 night stay. Loved the place & vibe. 😊

Sangay and Karma are great hosts. They take only one group at a time so we (me nd my partner) had the place to ourselves. You can requests the hosts for meal (for a very nominal price) incase you cant head out. The place looks exactly like in pictures and you will have a cozy feeling. The studio has a good vibe. Books to read and art of other students can be seen and enjoyed. Pets on the property are a great bonus.
