Daily visits from donkey Margarita & black lab Carbone were added pleasures to our stay. Felipe was responsive to hot water issue. Took guests to church on property. Explained history of property, Quito and Ecuador in general. He was extremely kind and helpful. Picked up & transported us back to airport for reasonable fee. Modest but lovely home.

Probably the best airbnb I’ve stayed in. It was very clean and better than in the pictures. Location was great and in a safe area. Definitely recommend and would stay again when we come back to Tena

Such an amazing value for such a big place in such a beautiful location. You basically get your own private compound, which for the three of us, was more than enough room. If anything was needed, Pablo was a text away, and the main part of the lodge (restaurant, bar, pool) is basically across the street. The unit is equipped with some of the best WiFi I found in Ecuador, which was a pleasant surprise as we were in the middle of the rainforest. Pablo and the rest of the staff at Huasquila were excellent, and beyond hospitable. We checked in super late, and Pablo waited behind to make sure we knew exactly where to park, and to help us with our stuff. The lodge is actually closer to Cotunda than Tena, just a fair warning. We drove to Tena routinely and it took less than 30 minutes. Archidona is another, closer hub with food and shops. The area immediately surrounding the lodge is basically trails, caves, rivers, caves with rivers in them, etc. Basically an outdoorsmans’ paradise. Along with that, you do get bugs sometimes near the sliding glass doors (mainly outside the lodge) but you kind of have to expect that in this location. Just be aware that you will be staying in a lodge in the Amazon rainforest. Another awesome perk was the breakfast offered by the lodge every day. Pablo and the staff even brought us breakfast to our house because we were the only ones staying at Huasquila at the time.

It has a great location within a short drive of the airport, giving easy access to Cumbaya and Quito. It is also easy to drive south to Cotopaxi, north to Mindo, without going through Quito. The house is large and lovely, with a good kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and has a washer and drier. You can walk to little stores nearby to get basic supplies. It is a perfect base of operations for a trip to Ecuador.

Fue una estadía relajante y tranquila, la casa es antigua pero muy cuidada , Maria Agusta fue una anfitriona increíble siempre pendiente de nuestras necesidades, realmente la pasamos increíble, justo lo que necesitaba con mi familia, un lugar cerca para poder movilizarnos en diferentes horarios y a la vez nos sentirnos alejados de todo. Muchas gracias por todo esperamos volver pronto.

Gabriela y su equipo fueron muy amables, recibimos constante comunicación y el personal de apoyo nos brindo consejos útiles sobre como usar cada área y proporcionandonos lo necesario para hacer de nuestra estancia una experiencia muy enriquecedora, será un gusto visitarlos nuevamente.

lugar bastante acogedor, la Quinta cuenta con un excelente equipo de trabajo, muy atentos y dispuestos a complacer a los huéspedes. lugar bastante amplio para compartir con todos los miembros de la familia.

Recomiendo este lindo lugar para disfrutar con la familia o amigos, cerca de Quito y muchas opciones alrededor de la estadía, Cristian y su equipo mantuvieron la atención inmediata a cualquier necesidad, seguro volveremos

Definitivamente una experiencia muy agradable, la casa es preciosa, enorme, con todas la comodidades, habitaciones cómodas, el ambiente muy tranquilo. La atención de Ivan, el encargado de la casa, fue excelente, siempre pendiente de lo que necesitábamos, servicial y muy amable. Muchas gracias por todo 🙏🏼 espero volver en otra oportunidad.

El lugar era muy cómodo y tranquilo para poder descansar, estaba rodeado de árboles frutales , el anfitrión es muy amable nos ayudo con todo lo que le preguntábamos. Muy acogedor. !Muy Recomendado!

Un lugar fantástico, limpio y seguro. Muy acogedora la cabaña.

Es un lugar hermoso, muy cómodo, con una vista espectacular del Antisana, rodeado de montañas. Muy bien ubicado, a 5min caminando de las Termas de Papallacta. El restaurante es delicioso y la atención en general personalizada y muy buena. Super recomendado.

Hostería la Ponderosa es un lugar muy bonito, recomendado al 100, tiene varias actividades y uno puede disfrutar la vida lejos de la ciudad. Solo como sugerencia tener agua más caliente.
