Stayed here back in 2022 and again this past weekend, both times have always been amazing! Great communication and there if you have any questions. Such a spacious clean & cozy home. Will stay here each time we plan family trips because of the experience we have had. 10/10 recommend booking here!

Had everything I needed for a 12 nights. The perfect home away from home. It had the cutest outside sitting area and a car port for those spring storms. The host was very understanding of my long work days and had great communication with me. I would recommend anyone to this location. Thanks so much for the great weekend away, visiting our daughter here in Lufkin. What a neat neighborhood and cozy little cottage. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Kasey was very friendly and reached out to make sure everything was okay. Unit was as described. Kitchen and baths are a bit dated but function just fine. Decor is cute. Plenty of space for our party of 2. Lots of books. Plenty of towels. Lots of closet space/hangers. First floor unit is convenient (just a couple of short steps to enter). Quiet neighborhood ... We never heard the neighbors in the adjoining units. This unit worked really well for us!

You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier host than Jim, who clearly wants the best for his guests. That's very apparent by the care taken to keep the property so beautiful. While enjoying morning coffee, we watched a Bald Eagle soar in from the lake like a fighter jet and perch itself on a pine tree for about a half hour. It was extremely vocal and had the other birds in the area on high alert. Not something we see every day in our neck of the woods. We are already planning to return with the family. The home was very spacious, clean and well kept. There was not anything that we needed during our stay that wasn't provided or available. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again, Jim! This was the 3rd time staying at one of Marilyn's homes and the 2nd time in this one! It looks a bit odd from the outside, but the location and the interior are perfect for exploring Nacogdoches! It is very roomy inside and decorated with classic furnishings. The beds and living room furniture are very comfortable! You are literally 1.5 blocks from the main street downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. There is an excellent part with a long walking trail a couple of blocks away. This house could easily sleep 7 adults in beds! And probably more with other sofa beds, etc. It has everything you need!

Would definitely stay here again! The house was situation on atleast 5 acres of land with tons of open space to do activities. Had a nice back porch area to hangout as well!

One of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. At night you can hear all of the frogs and various wildlife at the pond on the property. The pics do not do it justice as it was much bigger than we expected. Will definitely stay again when back in the area.
