Fagrahlid - Charming farmhouse apartment

Here at Fagrahlid we have turned this historic farmhouse into 3 beautiful apartments, with this one overlooking the famous volcano Eyjafjallajokull and the beautiful Westman Islands. We are located 5 km. outside Hvolsvollur and our location is the perfect base to see the best of the South of Iceland. It is a 40 minute drive to the Westman Island ferry and a 50 minute drive to Vik. We look forward seeing you!

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small family run company. We rent out four studio apartments, which all have their own entrance, and a small porch where our guests can enjoy the beautiful view. At Kviholmi you stay in a little distance, 3-4 minutes drive, from Route 1 where you will be outside the influence of car traffic and get a nice view to the mountains and unique perspective to Eyjafjallajokull glacier. This location is an excellent base to explore the wonders of South Iceland. Many interesting landmarks and other attractions are nearby or within 10 minutes to an hour's drive, like Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Skogar Museum, Solheimajokull and Black Beach.

The Gilitrutt apartment

Only 25 minutes drive to Vík. The apartment is named after the hag Gilitrutt wich is a folktale about a hag that supposingly lived in the mountain behind the apartment. In the bedrooms are windows up high with a nice view of that mountain which name is Rauðafell.
