Feel spoilt by the elegance of yesteryear in the 1800’s manor of Mount Pleasant. Dine al fresco beside your private pool at this historic property nestled under Table Mountain. Unwind with a glass of Cape wine in the gracious and romantic guest suite with its own vine-strewn garden, or curl up in an armchair by the grand stone fireplace. The spacious and airy open-plan guest suite is ideal for couples and young families. Centrally located in leafy Newlands, within walking distance of the famous sports stadiums, UCT and SACS. The house has been recently renovated and is a family home, and the property of Mount Pleasant is an interesting slice of Cape Town’s history, dating back to the 18th Century. The guest suite is ideal for a couple or family and consists of: - one large open plan bedroom-lounge (sleeps 3 - 4) - a full kitchen - bathroom with bath, shower, double vanity - a private lap pool - private garden looking up to Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak. In summer, lazing beside the sunny pool, dining outside and having a traditional South African “braai” (barbecue) are a must and in winter the roaring fire, full kitchen and TV provide a warm retreat. The bedroom-lounge is open plan with separate kitchen and bathroom. King size bed, a single sofa bed and a further single bed set up in the suite for 4th guest if required. Cable TV and WiFi are included. On offer are bottles of wine and drinks, laundry and cleaning services. Other extras which may be available are: use of the baronial dining room for meetings (seating for up to 18 people) or special occasions (daytime only). Please note: the pool is NOT fenced and is immediately adjacent to the suite, so please take extra care (therefore the space is not recommended for children who cannot swim). Private garden and pool. Off-street parking for 1 car. Use of the large dining room on request. Guests can enjoy total privacy, but the family and domestic staff are usually at home to welcome you and happy to answer questions and assistance via phone or text.Our friendly dogs: Boris, Frankie, Josh and Pixel will always give you an enthusiastic welcome (but your garden and wing is private so the dogs won’t bother you). Newlands is one of the original leafy suburbs of Cape Town bordering the University and State President’s residence. Lovely and sheltered from summer winds and cafes, restaurants and shops are a stroll away. Newlands is perfectly central for most of Cape Town’s most popular excursions. Table Mountain and cableway, the V&A Waterfront, beaches, wine farms, and the city centre are all within 10-25 minutes' drive and Ubers etc are readily available. The suburb of Newlands itself has many attractions, but to enjoy the full offering of Cape Town we recommend hiring a car or taking a taxi (Uber or call-taxi). Private guides or drivers will also collect directly from the premises. Airport transfers/shuttles/taxis are available at the airport or by booking through a transfer company. POOL Important: the pool is not protected with a net or fence and is immediately adjacent to the suite so please be careful and we do NOT recommend the suite for infants/children who cannot swim. PETS We can accommodate pets on request, but be aware there are resident dogs. EXTRAS Extras, such as wine, can be paid in cash or through the SnapScan App. MEETINGS & FUNCTIONS The baronial dining room can be booked for special meetings and daytime functions (rates/availability on request). It is a handsome room and seats 14-18 people. SHOOTS & LOCATION The Mount Pleasant manor house and grounds may be available for professional photography/film shoots. This would need to be by special arrangement directly with owners or their agents. Rates vary according to specifics of the shoot. (Please note: use of the guest space for commercial shoots would be an extra cost and is not included in the accommodation rate).

Wake up to birds singing in the Hibiscus tree outside this peaceful, two-story coastal apartment. Lounge on the terrace with views of landscaped gardens, the ocean, and surrounding mountains. Be sure to enjoy the refreshing pool after a long day. We are not able to accommodate children The first level (ground floor level of the villa)consists of the cosy decorated lounge with flat screen TV, a dining area and the fully equipped little kitchen which can be separated from the lounge by an artfully painted sliding door. A small terrace invites you to sit outside for breakfast or sundowners. From the lounge a staircase leads downstairs to the basement with it's bedroom, a passage to the bathroom(shower only)and the dressing room. The King size bed can be separated and configured into single beds. Our guests are invited to sit in the beautifully landscaped garden on their own terrace with sun loungers and side table or enjoy the big swimming pool . From here stunning views over the whole bay and the surrounding mountains as well as spectacular sunsets will delight your senses. We respect the privacy of our guests yet we enjoy to extend hospitality and the feeling of home from home .We are available under the same roof to advise,support,recommend and help our guests to make their stay a memorable one. Camps Bay offers restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, and different beaches. It has been officially declared the safest area of Cape Town, due to privately organised street patrols and security companies. The beach is a 15-minute walk away. MyCity bus stop is circa 400m away on Geneva Drive with one route clockwise and another anticlockwise to transport visitors either to town or downhill to the Promenade . Uber taxis or any of the local companies are another option From our house it's a 15 min walk downhill into Camps Bay Security : Street parking only - Camps Bay has been officially declared the safest area of Cape Town The property is fully in and outdoor secured

The apartment is set high up on Little Lionshead with panoramic views of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Folding doors lead onto an expansive pool deck with sun loungers and a gas barbecue all for the exclusive use of the apartment guests. There is a full kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, an en suite bathroom, lounge area with a large flat panel TV and an open-plan dining area. The apartment is serviced daily except for Sundays and public holidays. We have solar and battery power so are not affected by power outages. Mountain Walks, Village atmosphere with a city 10 minutes away. Beach 2km away. The suite is located on the lower level of the property and is totally private. There is parking on the property. Pool, garden, Mountain We are available to transport you around the Cape, take you on wine tours at an additional fee. MacD, our housekeeper is on hand 24 hours to assist where necessary The house is safe and secure with guarded entrance. Wake up to birdsong and enjoy the surrounding majestic mountains. Mount Rhodes is a security estate nestled in the foot of Little Lions Head. Llandudno is an exclusive suburb above one of South Africa's most beautiful blue flag beaches. Accommodation includes exclusive use of a private, self contained apartment with its own bathroom, kitchenette and TV, adjacent timber deck with sea and mountain views, and a separate living room with work desk, fibre internet & power back up. You have your own entrance & secure parking, and direct access to a pathway leading to the beach. UNFORTUNATELY NOT SUITABLE FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN UNDER 12.

Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

A former art studio has been converted into a beautiful little home that is attached to main house with panoramic valley view from your bed and garden. Further up in the mountain of Kronenzicht in a quiet cul-de-saq you can unsettle while having a dip in your private and heated hot tub, relax under the rain shower with stunning views on the back of table mountain and little lionshead or start your sunset walk on the beautiful sand dunes next to our property, even all the way down to Sandy Bay.

This is a unique "cabin in the woods" tree house style home nestled high up on a property making up part of the Table Mountain Reserve, overlooking the world heritage site "Orange Kloof" effectively the back of the Table Mountain reserve Despite its apparent remoteness, it lies just 7 min from Houtbay central district and 12 minutes from Constantia shopping centre. Home has immediate access to walking trails and Vlakenberg hiking trail. All bedrooms have stunning views onto mountain ranges.

Waking up in nature, surrounded by birdlife, will make you think twice if you should leave home to explore more of the beautiful Cape. Marina da Gama is close to the famous surfer beach of Muizenberg , the pittoresk Kalkbay , on the way to Cape Point or the Winelands driving along the ocean beaches of False Bay. Driving to Town is uncomplicated and takes 20 min.

With it's contemporary design, rock-rustic features incorporated with stunning elevated views of the Fish Hoek area and modern amenities, the Carved rock provides a tranquil, earthy grounding sensation that brings about comfort and relaxation to all guests. Special thought had gone into the process of accommodating each guest for either business or leisure. This listing is located on a quiet secluded gravel road on a mountain and not ideal for those who demand fast conveniences.
