Had a great stay at this home. Like everyone said, the shower is very large with two shower heads. The bedrooms are a little snug but the bed we slept it was pretty comfy. The only negative was the heat was off when we arrived, it was 52 degrees in the cabin.

We loved our stay! The scenery was beautiful and the home is lovely and is well stocked with what we needed to make meals and plenty of blankets and towels for our weekend. Without service or wifi it was a peaceful perfect place to spend the weekend. We can’t wait to come back!

We fell in love with Guemes Island! We could not be more grateful to stay in such a wonderful and peaceful spot. We hope to visit The Woodpecker many more times over the years! Our 18 month old son had the time of his life playing on the beaches and coming home to such an inviting atmosphere. 1000 out of 10. Would recommend to any and all !

Such a beautiful, magical stay! The local deer come around quite often, so be mindful of your dogs and keep them on leash. Don't scare them! They are adorable. The cabin itself was perfect. It was peaceful, secluded, and the perfect place to unwind. Thanks for the great experience!

This was a lovely Airbnb close to Mt. Baker. My friends and I had a great stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub and fire place felt extra cosy after a day on the mountain.

Em is an amazing host and the cabin was perfectly as described. Everything you needed was available, she even had extra cords just in case you forgot one during your trip. The scenery was great and would definitely return for another visit.

Very welcoming and warm environment. They go above and beyond with lots of little extras that were appreciated. The hot tub and fire pit that came with smores supplies were a nice bonus. It was an outstanding experience, enjoyed by everyone in our group. We highly recommend this property.

A great getaway on the lake with all the amenities to enjoy it. Hosts were great with info to prepare for our visit and easy checkout. Be prepared for the 80+ steps down.

Incredible stay. Best neighborhood to experience Mount Baker from. We have been the area a few times and this stands above the rest! The home itself is perfect. So cozy, spotlessly clean. Jen has thought of everything and is so responsive/helpful. One unique aspect was having a fully stocked kitchen. For an extended stay like ours this was next level. I’m a picky guest but this is a true 5 star experience. Thank you again so much for having us Jen!

The cabin alone was worth traveling from Seattle for! We enjoyed a weekend with visiting family and everything was as perfect as we’d imagined. Walkable area to enjoy, close attractions like Nooksack Falls and everything we needed to cook and relax while staying for several days. Would absolutely stay again, thank you!

Lovely cabin in the woods. Loved all the fun games, puzzles, and kids' books for the family. Beds were really comfortable.

The resort was really pretty, hosts were very responsive and really nice, the beds are very comfy, the kitchen well equiped. I really liked the camp fire and that there was a sauna. The place to get food is a bit far so bringing something to cook is a good idea. A very nice place to stay

My husband and I and our dogs had a lovely stay on Guemes Island! The cabin was just what we needed: peace and quiet and a great setting for napping and book reading. If you bring dogs, be sure to visit nearby Dog Woods aka Dog Heaven.

WOW! Cat & Chau went above and beyond with personal touches and were responsive with incredibly detailed suggestions and help for hikes and other local tips. We loved the space, everything my husband and I wanted for our anniversary. It's a prime location near so many trails and close to Mt. Baker. The hot tub and sauna were perfect; we loved the creek hike in the neighborhood, and the privacy made for a perfect getaway. The online handbook was great. We will be back!

Fabulous vintage cabin for the real Mt Baker experience. This cabin is well loved, perfectly preserved, and so cozy for apres ski. We had everything we needed for an awesome stay and would absolutely recommend to any ski bums. I’m sure it’s amazing in the summer months too! Thanks for having us.

This little cabin on the river catches you by surprise by how beautiful and peaceful it is. As you walk around the back of the cabin, past the blooming cherry blossom tree, and into the open back yard, you're greeted with a gorgeous mountain scape, in front of it a fresh, flowing river, then Ken's garden with flowers and a fireplace to sit at as the day turns to night. A cozy cabin big enough to fit 4 people perfectly. And Ken was a wonderful host who was extremely responsive. Definitely going back!

I was in search of a serene “in the woods” experience. My stay at this Airbnb exceeded my expectations in every way. I knew on the first day that I wanted to extend my stay. I was able to add an extra nights stay and was able to do so. I would have stayed longer but it was already booked. I slept delightfully so on the most comfortable king size bed, the best pillows I have ever slept on (I travel a lot and know good pillows:-) Deer grazing as I drank my morning coffee and watched them through all the windows in the cabin was picture perfect…everything was perfect. I will be returning.

Little house was clean and sharp! Had everything and some than what we expected nor have experienced in previous Airbnb stays else where. Elizabeth is an amazing host, easy to communicate and responds promptly as well. Makes this little house cozy with all the details she put in to make you feel right at home from the fresh baked bagels from a local shop, the chalkboard welcome sign and can’t forget the wine bottle and sugar scrub also. We’ll definitely stay hear again🫶🏼
