A cosy, two bedroom, centrally heated unit. Enjoy the large geothermal hot pool after a long day. A full size pool table, smart tv, wifi. A small kitchenette for light meals and snacks, plus a we private cottage garden to enjoy native birds and trees. Taupo is 50 minutes drive from our home. We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 40 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. Ski season is all go.

John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we’re delighted to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

In the winter relax by the fire, or when the weather is warmer, enjoy the spacious and private section for al fresco living - with decking at both the front and rear you can enjoy your morning coffee, and enjoy a game of Pétanque or Corn Hole.
