Trass Valley Cottage - Delightful Rural Retreat

Nurture family time or connecting with friends by planning a great escape! Delightfully quaint, the cottage allows you to take a well-earned break from the hustle and bustle of life without compromising on comfort or style. Just 30 minutes from Nelson airport, Wakefield is a great base for all the action with beaches, wineries, breweries and the Nelson Lakes all around 30 minutes drive. Mountain biking is even closer with the Great Taste Trail and Kainui Bike Park just at the end of the road!

A turn of the century villa with an interesting history! For it's first 30 years it was the 2nd story of one of the areas original farmsteads before being split from the ground level and relocated 100m north to where it sits today. Privately nestled in amongst heritage trees on a large section you could be mistaken for being in the country. This well crafted stone cottage is close to beautiful Golden Bay bush walks, old historic gold workings, lonely beaches, the Mussel Inn, swimming holes and much more. A striking building nestled in a tranquil and private setting, makes for a relaxing stay that would suit couples and solo adventurers alike. Literally on Kahurangi National Park's doorstep! The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

Romantic Getaway - The Caboose

Romantic Getaway. The Caboose is a handcrafted replica of a train carriage, with a small private garden. Set on a half acre property next to our historic farmhouse, centrally located at the outskirts of Motupipi, at the eastern side of Golden Bay, only 5 minutes drive from the beach and 5 minutes from Takaka township. The outdoor shower, bath and toilet are all in the private garden that can be accessed with stairs from the side of the balcony of The Caboose. Full cell phone coverage.

Karaka is a 2 bedroom cottage with decks and a verandah with wonderful views of the Waimea Inlet and mountains beyond. The outdoor bath, hammock, weber barbecue, brazier and outdoor furniture set in a beautiful natural landscape are perfect for a relaxing holiday. The sunroom/second bedroom is an extension of the living area. It converts to the second bedroom with 2 divans that can be made up as either a king size bed or 2 single beds. Children 12+

Family Friendly On Fairburn

Fabulous architecturally designed home available for families, couples and even furry friends. Less than 200 metres walk down to picturesque Dummy Bay with its beautiful golden sands; approximately 700 metres to Little Kaiteriteri beach; and approximately 1.4 km to the main Kaiteriteri beach. Wonderful views and pet friendly.
