A peaceful and tranquil getaway from Christchurch or a stop along your travels around New Zealand. The cabin is located in the heart of the Waipara wine region, on the doorstep of the best of North Canterbury’s wineries, with easy access to Mt Grey, Mt Cass and Tiromoana walkways. The cabin is cosy and welcoming, the perfect retreat.

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. Just $135 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi inside this building, however, there is from close nearby.

Cosy Motunau Cottage

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage, situated near the peaceful Motunau village, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Private outdoor space. Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.

On it's backdoor steps are world class walks, beaches & mountain bike tracks. It is a 5 min drive to Lyttelton, a very cool suburb overlooking the harbour with cool bars & restaurants known for it's music scene.
