Loved staying in this beautiful property nestled in the woods with wonderful views across the fields! Cosy, warm and felt like a home away from home! Would definitely book again!

We had such an incredible stay at Justine's place. The lodge was beautiful, warm and cosy and spotless. The attention to detail was amazing and Justine was a brilliant host - super quick with communicating and so helpful with sharing local recommendations. We loved our stay and can't wait to visit again! :-)

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

We had a lovely holiday in Boat of Garten with our kids (7 and 2). The cottage was perfect for our needs - plenty of space for the four of us, but still cosy, and within easy reach of everything the areas offers. We actually didn't end up using the garden much as we were out and about a lot but it's gorgeous and opens right onto the woods behind which was very magical for two city kids. Anderson's restaurant right next door was a bit of a bonus, too, since we could have dinner with the kids and then be home in 30 seconds! The sauna was a fabulous suprise (they hadn't installed it when we booked so we only found out on arrival) and we enjoyed using that after long days walking and carrying our toddler on our shoulders! Laura was super friendly and responsive, including posting my car key back to me after I stupidly left it in the bedside drawer. All in all, a great experience, and would thoroughly Laura's place, particularly to families.

Amazing host, who completely made us feel at home. Couldn't of asked for better communication and as for the property , unbelievable. Prime location, and to have an extra warm sauna, extra cold cold plunge, working jacuzzi and games room is almost unheard of. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Oli

We've had the most wonderful stay here — such a beautiful and welcoming lodge in the heart of the Highlands. The hot tub was a real highlight, and the honesty shop is such a thoughtful touch. Being able to bring our cat made it even more special. It was the perfect birthday surprise, and we've made some lovely memories. We'll definitely be back!

We visit Scotland every year and we’ve stayed in some wonderful places over the last 21 years. Gale’s place is definitely one of our top three favourites! Goodness - it is impeccably furnished, comfortable and wonderfully spacious. We absolutely loved the evenings by the fire, the bright and airy conservatory, the comfortable kitchen, extremely generous bedrooms and table tennis. We will most definitely be back if they’ll have us!

A very comfy warm and cosy cottage. Situated in a lovely setting with expansive views to Ben Rinnes. A great base for exploring Speyside.

Again, staying at Liz's cottage, I felt as if I was at home, literally, as I was brought up 50 yards from there! Had a nice homely feel to it, with plenty of books and videos if necessary. Great walks along the river, only 100 yards from the cottage, and not to far into the town itself, with bars and shops there. Hopefully, I'll be back! Thanks Liz.

Thank you Debbie for having us at your beautiful cottage and being a brilliant host. Everything had been considered, even biscuits for our dogs! A great cottage, with peaceful surroundings and a great secure garden!

Spent a great week here with family, and we all felt at home. The property feels nice and secluded but is only a 10 minute drive from everything you need. loads of options for days out with or without kids and walks within reasonable driving distance. Bea was always easy to contact and very nice to communicate with if needed. highly recommend

We had a magical stay at the cottage! The pictures don’t do justice to it and we highly recommend getting better pictures. We got very lucky with the weather, saw sun, rainbow and snowfall! The place is also aptly located for northern lights sightings. We got amazing sightings from the cottage on two nights. The Aga kitchen is 5 stars in itself! We loved bringing in new years at the cottage with our little baby. The cot and high chair were both super helpful. Thank you Jennifer for being so responsive and helping our stay.

This seaside cottage was absolutely stunning. It was comfortable and relaxing. The host was so helpful and always on hand to answer any questions. We will be back and really enjoyed our stay

Fantastic cottage, just a few steps from the sea in a lovely village. Cottage had everything that we needed, was spotlessly clean and felt really welcoming. Emma was a great host and checked everything was ok and answered any queries. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. We would love to visit again.

The location was walkable to local shops and restaurants and hiking trails. Harbor and beach was a stones throw away. Very clean and cozy. The beds were so comfy with high quality bed linens. Enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage felt like a home not a holiday rental. It was beautifully decorated and everything felt as it if was carefully chosen and good quality. The cottage was spotless and all the information needed was provided. There were lots of areas around the cottage to sit and enjoy the surrounding woods and views across to the hills. Huge numbers of birds came to the feeders and we regularly saw red squirrels at their feeders. Although secluded, it was still within easy reach of Tomintoul and the local shops. A brilliant location to explore the Cairngorms and wonderful place to return to at the end of the day.

A lovely, comfortable cottage with all you need but without clutter. Well-placed for local walks in pine woods and along the River Nethy. Would happily stay again.

Great cottage to stay in. We loved being able to visit the spey side distilleries. Rachel had the travel cot for our toddler set up when we reached the listing. Nice neighbors and even saw a pheasant!

We had a wonderful stay at Craigiedows to celebrate my mum’s birthday. Its location in the stunning scenery of the Cairngorms, off the beaten track but easy enough to get to, made for a perfect stay over the sunny Easter weekend. Ishbel was very communicative and super helpful throughout our stay and would highly recommend her cottage to anyone looking for a bit of escapism!

The cottage was a perfect place to meet our needs with Liz as host being flexible and most helpful. The cottage throughout is finished to a high spec and is beautifully appointed. Liz added many extra touches to make us feel at home. Although we were visiting relatives nearby, the location is perfect to explore Deeside and would be an ideal location for outdoor sports such as fishing, golfing & walking.

Judith and Mark were awesome communicators. They were there to welcome us and answer any questions we had. The cottage was immaculate and the amenities were very nice. Parking was super easy, which is not always the case in Scotland! The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed. They provided coffee, tea and milk, which was an added bonus. Sitting on the back porch, drinking coffee in the morning was so peaceful and quiet. What a great way to start the day. The grounds and scenery were beautiful too! The Co-op supermarket is a two minute walk and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone. Definitely a 10/10 stay!
