Listen to Loons calling each other in mornings & evenings. We are located at the tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula: 6 miles to Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Bridge & ferry boats to Mackinaw Island. 2 miles to Northwestern State Trail. During your stay enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat, tubes, swing and fire pit (with free firewood) at waters edge.

If peace and quiet is what you’re looking for in a vacation spot you’ve come to the right place. Hideaway Tiny Cabin is 320 square feet of secluded lodging on our homestead of 8 acres. You’ll be surrounded by wildflowers and the sounds of nature while amenities are only a 5 minute car ride away. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying the screened in porch attached to the cabin. There’s a fire pit right out front with firewood available on premise. Relax and destress.

The Bear Cub Aframe

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. When you stay with us you'll step into the magic of Fernside, our beloved A-Frame retreat on the Sturgeon River in Indian River, Michigan. The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

Dark Sky Cabin

Small cabin located at the end of a paved, dead end road in Carp Lake, Mi. 10 min drive from: Dark sky park, Mackinac Island ferries, Mackinaw City Crossings, hiking trails and more. Easy access to snowmobile/biking trails from cabin. There is a shared sauna on the property with two other cabins . The cabins are all secluded with there own lot.
