Welcome to your secluded country getaway. Located within 15-30 minutes of Floyd, Christiansburg, and Virginia Tech, this 1902 farmhouse sits off a gravel road on 32 acres of pasture and woodland. With a trundle bed and pull-out sofa, it sleeps 10 across four bedrooms and the living room. In addition to mountain views, this rural retreat boasts a spa bathroom with hot tub, fiber-optic internet that can stream for work or play, a full kitchen stocked with basics, and original, heirloom paintings.

The Serene Suite

Enjoy this quiet and private space only 2 miles from Virginia Tech and a mile away from downtown Blacksburg. Tucked away, yet walking distance from shops and restaurants. The living space is comfortable and complete with Keurig, refrigerator and microwave. The full bath includes a large indoor jacuzzi. The outdoor patio, overlooking the lush woods, is perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Dogs allowed. Ask the hostess for a one night minimum on certain dates!

Mountain Creek Lodge 2 Bedrooms/2 Bath

Mountain Creek Lodge is a full house accommodation with two bedrooms and two baths. It can sleep up to six with our Queen size Futon. Full kitchen access with a snack and coffee bar provided. Our lodge has a beautiful outdoor wildlife/nature setting. While some may enjoy family entertainment around the fire pit, others may enjoy the relaxation of the hot tub. My 2 bedroom home can accommodate everyone for the game or graduation with LOTS of space for air mattresses or sleeping bags for the kids! Great yard to tailgate or pregame! This is my permanent residence along with Moose my chocolate lab! We’ll be elsewhere but keep that in mind incase of allergies!

It won first place in the international Solar Decathlon Europe competition in Madrid, Spain in 2010 and was exhibited in Times Square, NYC, Millennium Park in Chicago, and on the National Mall in DC. It also won a national AIA honor award for its design. The house sits on 10 acres with a great view of the sunset. It is 1.5 miles from downtown Blacksburg. We can provide access to parking in town for the VT events.
