Det var över förväntan och när vi fick lite krångel med elen så ordnade Raquel fram stearinljus på nolltid. Det fanns mer än vi väntat oss som tex kaffemaskin, brödrost och även hårtork. Så bra. Hade lite problem med att hitta pga att vi uppfattade Póvoa do São Miguel som slutmålet men det i själva verket var Estrela. Vi kan ha läst slarvigt men lite otydligt var det. Vi trodde att kyrkan i beskrivningen var i Póvoa do São Miguel. Tacksam över att det fanns kaffe att ladda maskinen med. Vi saknade verkligen ingenting. Rara grannar för både oss och vår fyrfotade vänner. Fin liten affär snett över gatan. Tack tack.🐕🐕🧘‍♂️🧘‍♂️🤗🐾

Sehr praktische Unterkunft in der Stadt. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar und trotzdem ist es ruhig gelegen. Für Hunde gibt es gleich nebenan einen kleinen Park. Ich habe den kleinen Pool zum „Eisbaden“ in der Nacht genutzt. Ema ist super freundlich und reagiert schnell und kompetent.

Zona muito tranquila, casa bastante bem limpa, muito bem equipada. Recomendo

A casa é extremamente acolhedora, super limpa e com tudo o que é preciso, com todos os utensílios de cozinha, toalhas e produtos de higiene. o Filipe é um bom anfitrião, muito responsivo e pronto para qualquer dúvida.

O espaço é bastante agradável e localização excelente. Foi pena não ter usufruido do terraço, porque o tempo não ajudou. A comunicação com a anfitriã foi muito fácil e rápida.

Had a lovely few days here. The home is super clean and very well equipped. Lots of fascinating photos and things in the house that tell of its history...its actually much nicer than the photos Located on the main square of a small Alentejo village, it is quiet and peaceful. The church bells mentioned by other posters didnt bother us at all. We were welcomed with a basket of gorgeous fresh eggs, tomatoes and peppers. Our dogs enjoyed the securely fenced yard Thanks for a lovely stay

We stayed in Casa das letras and loved the place. It's so cozy and all the details made us felt so welcomed. Every bedroom had its own bath, the beds were super comfortable. There was a lot of space. We enjoyed playing billiard in the dining room, using the well equipped kitchen, or catching a book and relax. The playground in front was perfect for us, because we had kids with us. Straight opposite of the building is a tiny shop to get necessary stuff like milk, eggs and so on. For bigger things we went to the next town, which is about 15 minutes. We chose to stay in Carbela and this house because it's very quite and you can reach everything by car easily in less than an hour, for example Lisbon, Evora, some beaches and other interesting places. Catarina was super nice, she gave us straight support whenever we needed something. We highly recommend the place for families or people who want to calm down and enjoy their time. Hopefully we can come back some day. All the best to everyone

De weg om naar het huis te komen is erg hobbelig, maar dat staat goed beschreven. Paul wacht je halverwege op. Het huis is werkelijk schitterend, heel comfortabel en de omgeving is mooi, rustig en vredig. In de omgeving zijn veel mooie plaatsen te bezoeken en het was iedere avond weer thuiskomen. Helaas hebben we geen wandeling door de kurkenboomgaard gemaakt en geen winetasting. Ook daarvoor gaan we een keer terug. Heeeeeeel fijne plek!!!!!!

Um feriado para ficar nas nossas memórias… Pedro foi muito prestativo respondeu a todas as questões q tínhamos, fomos em 11 pessoas tendo quarto para todos com banheiro individual para cada quarto. A cozinha super bem equipada, a área da churrasqueira uma delícia para ficar a mesa convivendo enquanto o churrasco vai assando :) A Sra Carla faz jus a todos os bons comentários que tem aqui a seu respeito, uma simpatia de pessoa mesmo sendo feriado nos respondeu com todo carisma, deu várias dicas e deixou tudo muito bem explicado só tenho a agradecer. Um lugar para voltar com toda certeza!!

Segunda vez neste pequeno paraíso. Para quem gosta de silêncio, animais, privacidade, este é o local perfeito. Perfeito para bebés/crianças. Os caseiros são a alma deste sítio. O sr Coirinha e esposa são pessoas super amáveis e disponíveis. Recomendamos muito.

This is a hidden gem nestled in a vineyard with a nice vegetable and fruit garden. Beautiful mild scented roses lined the entrance way to our villa. There was a large beautiful pool and our place was very clean. If you want a quiet relaxing time away from noise, light and air pollution this is the place to unwind. We did many day trips to the neighbouring towns and was always happy to be back here. Margarida and her husband, Joaquim, were gracious hosts who allowed us to pick fruits and vegetables from their farm. We enjoyed two bottles of wine (red and white wine) from their own vineyard which was very nice. Great view! Rustic and so close to nature. Great for guests who want a retreat for contemplation and to have a fun time with their families.

Wonderful villa to use as the base for exploring the area. The house is fully equipped for anything you need, the bbq grill by the pool was super nice and on top of it all we had a welcome basket which demonstrates nicely how the hosts care about their guests. We’d come back without hesitation.

Fernanda’s place is very peaceful. You walk in and feel right at home. She has everything you could need. We sat on the patio and drank wine until dark. (That she so sweetly provided.)

A Senhora Dulce foi excecional em responder minhas dúvidas, atenciosa e muito simpática, deixou várias indicações de tudo que era necessário desde restaurante, mercado, locais onde visitar… A senhora Celeste que nos recebeu foi maravilhosa e super atenciosa. Estou encantada com tudo que a casa oferece, principalmente para as crianças, minha filha amou a casa de bonecas. Voltarei com certeza!

O espaço do Pedro e da Maria é um verdadeiro achado! O lugar é tranquilo e super charmoso. Vamos regressar em breve de certeza. Tudo impecável e super limpo. Devia chamar-se monte das estrelas porque o céu à noite no monte e lindíssimo.

Bien situado, cómodo, privado, limpio, al lado del centro, tranquilo y silencioso. Repetiría!

Sehr ruhig gelegen, schöne Aussicht aufs Tal. Schafe, Ziegen, Hunde, ein Pferd und eine Menge Sittiche sind die Nachbarn. Sehr ländlich, am Morgen hört man erst die Hähne vom Dorf, dann die Hunde, dann die Glocken der Schafe und Ziegen - sehr idyllisch. Das Haus ist grosszügig, liebevoll eingerichtet und duftet herrlich. Der Garten ist sehr gross, viele Sitz-Möglichkeiten, besonders schön ist die freistehende Lounge. Viele schöne Pflanzen, alles sehr gepflegt und überall solarbetriebene Lampen und Lämpchen, die am Abend eine heimelige Stimmung verbreiten. Ein Grossteil des Gartens ist trockenes Gras/Staub, aber das ist nach dem Sommer hier überall so und stört nicht. Lúcia und Carla (Tochter) haben uns persönlich begrüsst und waren sehr nett. Sie haben uns auch das (einzige) Dorfrestaurant empfohlen - wir waren zweimal da und es war wirklich sehr gut, günstig und herzlich. (Man kann prima Fussball schauen mit den Einheimischen! ) Viele Attraktionen des Alentejo sind nahe.

This place is just a wonderful oasis of peace and beauty. The antique house is 200 years old and belongs to the family ever since; the surrounding nature too beautiful to be true, the infinity pool was amazing even if for us in April, after 10 days of rain, unfortunately too cold. We had a wonderful stay and would like to sincerely thank Paul, our host. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, told us a lot about the house and the surroundings, and even showed the children different plants, which they loved. He was always available when we needed something, but never intrusive – just the perfect host. Thank you, Paul, for making our stay so special!

The little house is lovely - warm and homely. It is well furnished with a good hot shower and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of extra blankets (we came in the cold season). Parking is right outside the door and the back garden has a covered area as well as a direct sun area- chairs table and sun beds. There is a small laundry, lines and pegs. We would thoroughly recommend.

Great house. We are a family with 4 children and the house was great for kids. Everything was easy to use and has an amazing backyard. Great location for a family vacation away from the busy areas. All supermarkets, petrol stations and great restaurants only 12min away. Will definitely recommend.

Ideal para descansar! Não apropriado para quem não gostar de animais, principalmente gatos. Excelente para quem tem crianças e quer que estas estejam em contacto com a natureza.

Charming, unique and huge house in the center of beautiful Evora. We had a great experience staying in this building and Paulo was a very responsive and friendly host. We will be happy to come back!

Esta casa foi uma óptima escolha... e Ana foi uma excelente anfitriã sempre disponível. A localização também é muito boa, calma, local ideal para passar uns dias no sossego do Alentejo. Recomendo
