Brian explained everything well when we arrived. It's a very comfortable and peaceful place to stay. I would go back! He also told us where to find things in Nashville. It would be nice to spend a month there!

Cara’s listing was genuinely one of the cleanest, put together places I’ve stayed. She was on top of communication and gave us extremely easy check in/out instructions. Pain free stay. Cara and her Airbnb are awesome!!

Treehouse Retreat With a View of National Forest

The reviews are accurate. This place was perfect for what we were looking for. Great hiking, great view from the balcony and living room windows, tranquil, etc. And Cheryl and Ralph (and CoCo) where most kind and helpful, even running up a stick of butter when asked. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away (but not too far away), and will be back in the future.

Libby's house was great for a weekend getaway. She helped us work through a couple of snags and was very responsive in helping. The Porthole Inn was a great place for live music and food! short drive in to Bloomington. The Butler winery was down the road and an amazing recommendation!

Private 12 acre lake, 80 acres & heated game barn

This place was incredible. Beautiful landscape to admire and explore during the day and great amenities to play with at night. The host responded to my questions immediately and was very nice. I can’t think of one bad thing to say about this place or host.

The Lake Cottage

Cheryl’s Lake Lemon Cottage was a great get-a-way. The cottage was beautiful with plenty of lounging areas and it was decorated so nice. The fresh flowers and rosemary were a sweet touch! There is also a nice view of the lake from the cottage. We had a boat so the dock was very accommodating and Cheryl was very helpful in making sure our trailer was parked safely. The fishing wasn’t good because of murky water and high winds but it was still nice to get out and enjoy the lake on the boat… the beautiful cottage more than made up for the lack of fish :) Thank you! It was perfect for me and my bridesmaids before my wedding. Cameron checked in to make sure we didn’t have any questions or problems. I would definitely use the space again if I was in the area.

Seclusion at it's best! Private lake and cabin.

Met up with some family from out of state there. It is really close to Brownstown Speedway where we all go every year for the Jackson 100. usually my family stays with me in Indy and we drive down every night. But I wanted to find somewhere with a shorter drive back and forth. We were there 6 days, rained everyday, all racing got canceled and we didn't even care. We had a wonderful time fishing in the rain and just enjoying the views. Very well stocked lakes. Very secluded, absolutely beautiful property. Seen lots of deer. We all agreed we definitely want to do it again next year.

1884 Farmhouse - Donkeytown at Turner Farms

Wonderful out-of-the-way country location. Beautiful, scenic property with well equipped accommodations in aged farmhouse. The house had plenty of space for 11 of us to spread out yet also be together in common areas. There is some minor maintenance to be done in the house, but nothing that hampers enjoyment of the overall property and lodging experience. We hope to plan another stay with Tonya during warmer seasons to experience this fun farm in all its splendor. Thanks, Tonya!

Jim and Myra were lovely hosts! Prior to our arrival, they contacted us to ensure that we had everything we needed and provided an open line of communication in case we had any questions or concerns. The house itself was quiet and cozy. It is a short drive from campus and a nice retreat away from the busy game day weekend on campus. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting Bloomington.

Our host was wonderful! She was friendly, attentive to our needs, offered great local recommendations, check in every day to ask if we needed anything, and was just a really nice person. Also, we love her little dog, Cooper! He made friends with my pups and she allowed us to bring him into the unit for “play dates” with my pups!

*Overlook, Fall Getaway for Family & Friends!

This is a repeat stay for us. We love staying at the Overlook for our family get togethers. Plenty of room, enough supplies for guests staying and large gathering areas. Lots to do in the area as well. Paula is an awesome hosts and quick to reply and very accommodating making our stay always delightful.
