The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Ancient Earth Homestead on Bluebird Game Estate

A magnificent homestead on a private game estate at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountain range. The spacious garden is full of healing herbs, vegetables, fruit and flowers for foraging and feasting. On request, we also offer a private Chef for special functions or full farm style, country kitchen catering and cleaning. Situated along the Hennops River is a little rondavel nestled in natural wilderness of the Crocodile River Reserve. We are part of the Magaliesberg Biosphere, which has been categorized as a critically important and irreplaceable biodiversity area. Emerge yourself into the wild, relax in a tranquil natural environment and go hunt that thirst for adventure. Removed from any amenities you find yourself free as a bird. Forget the concrete jungle and follow us into the cradle of the African bush.

Oriole Chalet

Medium-sized chalet, couple or 3 singles. Bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed or 2 singles. And 1 sleeper couch in lounge. Bathroom with bath & hand-held shower. Built-in fireplace and open-plan lounge. Fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Wi-Fi and TV monitor with media ports (no DSTV), DVD machine (DVD's at reception). Raised veranda overlooking a private garden, fully fenced and gated with built-in outdoor braai and bonfire areas. Hosts small to large-sized (social) dog breeds.

Rambling Rose Cottage

Rambling Rose is a double storey thatch cottage situated in Irene Village, a historic suburb conveniently located between Johannesburg and Pretoria. Experience the advantage of having easy and close access to highways, Gautrain station and several coffee shops/restaurants whilst staying in a quiet secure area full of mature trees and greenery. The Irene Link shopping centre is a mere 2km away whilst the famous Irene Dairy Farm which was established in 1906 is less than a 10 minute walk away.

Artist's retreat farm

Settle in at this unique space - a private space to fully unwind and let creativity unfold among a welcoming community. It is a private loft guesthouse at a shared creative farm. The loft offers one queen size bed, an open kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, all cooking utilities. There is a comfortable seating area, a large desk, cupboards, books, and yoga mats. The double bed is comfortable and cozy. It is very spacious and bright with large windows and blockout curtains for privacy.

Furnished, upmarket and modern cottage on our unique urban farmhouse in Sandton. Very central, secluded in a big garden but very secure. Close to motorway, Monte Casino and Fourways Mall. Offer full satellite-TV, fibre WiFi and parking. Enjoy the open spaces, chickens, birds and our pet Antelope (buck). You may also want to consider our two other cottages. We have our own water supply and electricity backuperties in the estate. We have been a super host every quater since 2016

Red Earth on Kokopelli Farm

If you and your family need a quiet, peaceful breakaway then Red Earth farmhouse. We are just across the border in North West We are a child friendly venue. There is still small buck, baboons, porcupines, monkeys, rabbits and a variety of bird species on the farm. 3 bedrooms, main has king, 2nd has double, 3rd has 2 single beds. Note that the host's living space is attached to Red Earth. He has a separate entrance and does not infringe on your private space.

A compact house situated amongst the trees in a pecan nut orchard. This stylish unit is on the Melody Hill Retreat property - Yoga classes and kahuna massages can be arranged on arrival. Feel free to walk in the pecan nut orchard or to walk through the labyrinth. You're bound to spot monkeys, bush babies, squirrels, porcupines and lots of hornbills during your stay. Enjoy perfect winter days next to the wood-burning fireplace.
