Fantastic villa with an awesome view. Definitely a place to stay to relax but still within a short distance from town. Judith the caretaker was so helpful and polite, even though we made a lot of noise laughing till the early hours.

Lovely home stay felt right at home. The live in help was definitely a godsend

The host: Awesome. The Villa: Everything we wanted. The service: Fabulous The View: Amazing The Road: full of potholes, jagged rocks, occasionally so narrow two cars can't pass. This place is well worth the money. The staff were all very nice. Felix was a great waiter. The sunsets at the lake were absolutely beautiful. Villa Del Sol has a view of Kisumu across the lake, but is far enough removed to let you relax in silence. The only downside is the nearly non-existant road you have to take to get there. I highly recommend using one of the taxi drivers the host offers and save your own car or rental the beating it would take.

The place was just as pictured. Elvis was such a hospitable host and was always a phone call away to cater for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the patio and the grill. The location was convenient to access amenities. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Very clean accommodations in a great location!

I had a great stay at Faith and Damaski’s place in Kisumu! The location is excellent—very safe, quiet, and close to many places like Dunga Hill Camp. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, making it a great place to unwind. I initially booked a different unit but later opted for the one-bedroom, which was a great choice. Faith and Damaski were extremely responsive and quick to communicate, making the entire stay smooth and hassle-free. I’d definitely recommend their place to anyone visiting Kisumu! I'd definitely recommend it

Great view looking north, not towards the lake. As others have pointed out, it is on a busy street so a little loud but you get used to it. Brian, the on-site, manager is very helpful. Within walking distance of a nice mall with supermarket, a gym, and also nice area to run or walk in. Wifi good. I recommend and would stay again.
