We had a really pleasant time at Nikola's and Paulina's place. We stayed four nights with a small kid over the New Year's Eve and the neighourhood was really calm even at that time. The place itself is lovely - super clean and equipped with everything you may need. And a nice bonus at that time - the Christams decor :) Communication with the host was also quick and great, she even let us stay a few hours after the check-out time due to rain. Overall we had a very nice stay, thank you for that!

The apartment was clean and looked exactly like in the pictures. Additionally, Marcin was very good host, asked if we needed anything, and answered all our questions. Heathers place is in a lovely location with stunning views from the rear garden, the property is equally as nice , clean and tidy and the kitchen is well equipped, would definitely book again

We were so lucky to have found Noranne’s wonderful cottage for our first visit in Scotland. It is truly amazing. The place is very cozy, natural yet sophisticated and extremely clean. It's beautifully modernized and everything is the top quality. It is like something I would see in the magazine! Noranne was an exceptional host – very easy to communicate, always friendly, super helpful, and gave us great advice for visiting places. She put fresh flowers in every room and little warm welcoming touch for everyone and even baked flapjacks for our arrival! The village was very quiet and peaceful, with charming local café and pub. Rosslyn chapel and the glen was just around the corner, where me and kids enjoyed daily walk in the sublime nature. At the same time, it is so easy to visit Edinburgh either by bus or a car. Just a perfect location. We cannot wait to go back!!

We really enjoyed Christine's place. The house is beautifully and cosily furnished and nothing is missing. The hosts are friendly, open-minded and helpful. We really enjoyed our time and can only recommend it.

Our stay was just the best. The location was beautiful, peaceful and quiet with its own loch and kayaks which the children loved. It was also close by to local amenities and many places to visit nearby. The house was so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and Theresa had very kindly left us some groceries, a very welcome addition. Pets were also welcomed and it was a great place for dogs to run around in. We would not hesitate to recommend Theresa’s house as it had everything and more that we were looking for.

Fantastic property. Luxury feel. Top end furnishings, appliances. Bed felt like a cloud! Everything you need is there. Welcome drinks & snacks a lovely touch. Not far to find local food shops, takeaways, places of interest. Rosslyn Chapel a must see.

Gorgeous property well situated for Edinburgh and surrounding area. A short bus ride into the city centre. Lovely homely feel so easy to relax in front of the log fire, or if the weather allows, to throw open the doors to the walled patio. Ps. The cutlery is in a draw under the table, don’t make the same mistake we did and think there wasn’t any 🤦🏻 Great service from the Joivy team though to help us locate it.

It is a good basic apartment, two bedrooms with double beds, a large living room with a sofa, and small kitchen and bathroom. It is about 30 minutes by bus from the city center with not much to find nearby, there are supermarkets so you can get food, but not much more. The host was very communicative and tried their best to accommodate every request that we had.

Booked this place for my parents, really close to King’s Building of UofE, good for them to visit the campus. The bus stop just right outside the house, really convenient for us to go to the city centre. The host and his families are super nice and friendly, made them feel right at home. Highly recommend.

The flat was perfect for our needs and was exactly as advertised. Super newly refurbished and spotless - the amazing coffee machine was an absolute bonus. Thank you!

We stayed for two nights in April 2025 with my family, and everything was fantastic! Great location, great accommodation, and everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. We were a group of 6 and the moment we walked into house, we all felt like home. A spacious home with an outstanding interior design, super cosy. The kitchen was well staffed (best kitchen we‘ve ever had in an Airbnb). For the first morning David and his wife left us everything we needed for a proper breakfast. Eine schöne Unterkunft unweit von Edinburgh. Diese Unterkunft ist schön gelegen, mit einer tollen Aussicht. Nach Edinburgh fährt man mit dem Auto zwischen 15-30 min., je nachdem wo man parken will und wie der Verkehr ist. Um Parkplätze zu finden haben wir die App „JustPark“ genutzt. Die hatte ich in Schottland entdeckt und die war sehr hilfreich. Vom Flughafen fährt man etwa 15 min mit dem Auto zur Unterkunft. Etwas aufpassen muss man, dass man die Einfhart nicht verpasst, im dunklen ist sie schwer zu erkennen. Da wäre sicherlich eine Art Reflektor hilfreich. Einen Parkplatz gibt es auch direkt an der Unterkunft, es wäre sogar Platz für mehrere Autos. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man hat alles, was man zum schlafen und kochen benötigt. Wir waren zu dritt dort (meine Frau, ihr Bruder und ich) und wir hatten auch kein Problem damit, dass alles in einem Zimmer war (beide Betten und Küche). Es ist schön gemütlich und hat sich wie ein zuhause angefühlt. Vielen Dank!

As a Fifer, it’s always nice to come back and stay. Craigs place was easy to find, spacious and spotlessly clean, and Burntisland is a lovely town. I would certainly stay at Craigs again.

My husband and I had a great stay at Tania’s. Tania met us on arrival and walked us through the information for the apartment. It’s a nice sized basement apartment, going down steps off the main road to a private entrance, with a full kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Tania provided all the basic essentials and even left us tea, milk, and some snacks to get us started which was much appreciated. The location is an 11 min walk from the Haymarket train stop, and all the buses and trams stop just around the corner so it’s an easy location to get to. For a city apartment it’s surprisingly nice and quiet, except for occasional noise from the street or neighbors, but nothing that was an issue. There is plenty to do within walking distance and many food options near by. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

The apartment was as advertised. The pictures were accurate great location. Only concern we had was construction started as we got there. It was unfortunate but beyond Samantha’s control

Loved this stay, great location to everywhere we wanted to go and comfortable space to hang out in the evening and watch a movie. Loved having breakfast out on the terrace. The stairs to the apartment itself were a bit hard to get our large suitcases up/down and the steps were not level (dipped from wear and age). One of our party has a bit of a fear of heights but they managed.

A great apartment just right for our stay. It is a three minute walk to the tram stop. It is also around a twenty minute walk to Princes Street. The area had lots of coffee, pastry and convenience shops within just a few minutes walk. The apartment was very clean and well decorated. It felt homely and was plenty big enough for five adults and two children. The washer dryer was a big help during our stay. The kitchen, bathroom and utility area had everything we needed including shampoo, conditioner, washing liquid, coffee and tea etc. The roof terrace was very large and pleasant. The staircase up to the upper level bedroom and terrace was a bit rickety and my father who uses a stick found it a bit tricky, but manageable. There is also the option to use the stairs outside of the apartment in the hallway. We had a lovely stay and highly recommended the apartment.

⭐️ X5! We’ve stayed at lots of properties over the years and this ranks in the very top. Kornelia has put much care, design and professionalism into this great location. All is as described but she sets it apart with her kind and prompt responsiveness and attentiveness. We absolutely would not hesitate to recommend her wonderful, Comfortable ( bed especially!) and complete place to our friends. As others have noted: a true 2-3 minute walk to a bus stop and easy into the city. Close by coop or other stores. Thank you again Kornelia for a lovely stay! 👍👍

The flat was fantastic and felt like a home from home. Rosie was a truly marvellous host and provided a wonderful selection of goodies to get me going. The communication was first rate and provided me with all the information I needed about local amenities. Nothing was too much trouble and it was so lovely to be dealing with someone who really wanted to make sure that I got the most out of my time in Peebles. She also made sure that my wee dog had everything she needed. I can’t fault the flat or Rosie and I would definitely return. Superb all round.
