I had such a wonderful stay — it truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed. The space was peaceful, beautifully comfortable, and had everything I needed. I couldn’t think of a single thing that was missing! What made it even more special were the gorgeous horses and the friendly dog who added such a lovely, grounding touch to the experience. I felt completely safe and at ease during my time there. One of the highlights was booking an Ayurvedic massage and facial with Alexandra — it was absolutely incredible and left me feeling deeply nurtured and restored. If you’re staying here, I highly recommend checking out her brochure of treatments. I would absolutely stay again and can’t recommend this place enough for anyone seeking rest, comfort, and a little touch of magic.

We absolutely loved our short stay at Hunter Hideaway Farm. It was so peaceful and picturesque waking up to the beautiful surroundings and the birds chirping. The cabin is comfortable, cozy and has all the creature comforts of home. With a stunning outlook across the paddocks down to the pond. Would highly recommend for a romantic couples weekend. Some cheese and crackers and a nice glass of red in the hot spa while watching the sun set, what more could you ask for.

Tara’s beautiful 2 headroom cottage was perfect, exactly as listed, close to town and they even put some staples and a banana bread in the fridge for us on arrival. We will definitely be booking the house when we come back this way. Highly reccomend

Nothing short of amazing. This was the most relaxing and peaceful weekend away we’ve had it was private with beautiful surrounds and such a homely environment. Hosts were amazing. Would absolutely go back again!

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Great host, went extra mile with little goodies, milk, bacon and eggs, toast and cereal even yummy chocolate biscuits. Lovely rustic quiet farm location.

We really enjoyed our weekend, 4 generations aged from 18 mths to 89. The cottage was lovely and the setting is very relaxing.

Stunning location, dream country house, gorgeous gardens, generous and friendly host. What more could you ask for! We didn’t leave the property as it was such a nice place to relax and unwind. Farm walks by day and fire pits at night. Dress ups for the kids were a hit. Fenced yard was perfect for our pooch. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

We loved our stay in this beautiful little cottage. It was the perfect stop over for our drive to Sydney. Josie was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again on our next roadtrip.

A beautiful farmhouse and perfect for our weekend away for 7 people. The farmhouse was clean and beautifully furnished we didn’t want to leave. It was lovely waking up to the sound of birds and looking out to all the cows and a little kangaroo family that was also there for the weekend. We would love to come back and stay for longer.

Vanessa’s farmstay is in a stunning part of northern NSW. The cabin is simple but very comfortable, and the kitchen is close by and well equipped. It’s worth noting that there is only a powder room in the cabin, the shower facility is attached to the kitchen area. Vanessa was a highly responsive, friendly and approachable host - more than happy to help with anything we needed and had some excellent local recommendations. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our second time staying here and again was an amazing experience! The place was super cute with thoughtful touches and the animals were so beautiful and friendly. Will definitely be back again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The tiny home was perfect for the two of us and the location is beautiful - surrounded by paddocks and animals. The sauna, ice bath and spa are private and have great views. We loved our stay and we’ll definitely be back!

It was perfect for a group trip. When I was booking it, I didn’t realise it’s actually 2 houses that sleep 8 guests each. No biggie and it was just a little walk between them, but if you have a group of kids it’d be good to know. The houses were super clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is it’s a shame there was no coffee pods for the coffee machine, as the nearest coffee shop was a bit of a drive away.

A lovely stay with the kids. Close enough to the Hunter Valley attractions for easy adventures, and far enough away to feel like a country break. Daniel and Renee were very responsive hosts. The outdoor firepit and meeting the animals were accommodation highlights.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and charming property! Check in was simple and we were greeted with two bottles from the hosts winery. The home was clean, tidy, homely and inviting for our large family and our kids found plenty of things to do both inside and outside the house. There were board games and toys, and they loved the outdoor play area. The bedrooms were well presented and comfortable to sleep in. The host was friendly and helped us with all of our enquires. Internet is as-expected in the area at ~12mbps, but you don’t take a country escape to spend your time online! We had a five star visit which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Hunter.

Thank you Susan! My mum, sister and I had the most wonderful stay in the Hunter Valley. The cottage is private, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful vineyard landscape. Susan & her husband even let us ‘forage’ for passionfruits for our breakfast in their lovely cottage garden too. we waited out the cyclone at annabelles place and it was just perfect. the view was so pretty and serene and the house very comfortable. we also treated ourselves to Annabelles home cooked meal which was totally delicious! and also the home made caramels...yum! thanks for a great stay

We spent a lovely Christmas at The Dairy Cottage, it was so peaceful and private. We really loved sitting out on the deck at sunset, watching the cows, lambs, birds and enjoying the water view. The cottage has everything you need for a great country break!
