Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cwtch is in a perfect location for a number of activities, e.g Brecon Mountain Railway, Bikepark Wales, Morlais Golf Course, River fishing and lots more. There are a number of pubs in the village that serve food and local beers.

James' Place@Dowlais offers 7 individually and creatively styled self-catering studios. They are ideally placed for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, visiting Bike Park Wales, Zip World South or working away from home.
