My stay at Ricky’s was great! After a long day and a long drive there that ended a bit stressful, when I arrived at Ricky’s they immediately knew me by name and got me dinner. The place is more like a hostel, with community meals, jam sessions around a fire at night, and a club like area that I could tell probably had some amazing parties, but there weren’t many people there when I was staying. There’s amazing snorkeling right on site, with the chance to see some beautiful sea turtles. They also have a turtle hatchery, which was so cool! I got to help feed the baby turtles and clean their little shells! If you’re looking for a a chill and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by beauty, Ricky’s is for you! The only negative, which would only be a negative for some. Is that they do play live music pretty late at night which can be heard from the bungalows, and as I said, I can tell they probably have some pretty fun parties there during the peak season.

Rolis and his family are amazing host, taking great care of their guests such as in the morning you will wake up to freshly home cooked breakfast and aromatic coffee or tea. Rolis himself is extremely passionate of developing Kerinci’s into a tourist haven and has consistently been taking approaches to making it happen. He knows his hometown inside and out and will bring you to places only known to the locals. The Kerinci hiking tour is superb with the porter cum guide caring for all aspects of your need (food, tent, looking out for your safety...) Only thing you may want to take note is the distance to and fro Padang city, especially when taking the shared taxi. A supposing 6-7 hr ride may become 10 hr as the driver may pick up other passengers along the way, take breaks in between and traffic conditions. Don’t plan your trip too compact because this is Indonesia after all ;-)

I am very grateful and appreciative for a wonderful experience at Bagus surf camp. It has an amazing vibe. I love it so much so I simply extend my stay. Let’s just say I have found myself a paradise. The host is very friendly and is/was helpful with my transportation and other arrangements. The surf camp itself has a great position, beach front bungalows, great place for swimming and walking distance to 4 different surf spots. Of course plenty other surf spots around that are reachable with small boat and host is always happy to provide. The place is clean and food is delicious, very impressive of the variety of different cousin. A quick tip: ask for chocolate cake. Thank you Bidet, Guntur, Djanu, Julie and assistant (not sure what is her name) for making my trip so wonderful. I will keep coming back.

オーストラリア人のご主人と、二人の可愛い娘さんがいるエルナさんのゲストハウスは、簡素ですが、必要なものは揃っており、また綺麗に掃除が行き届いていて快適です。 ゲストハウスからはクリンチさんを眺めることが出来ます。 ちょっと歩けば、クリンチの茶畑の風景にも出会える好立地です。 クリンチ観光の手配はエルナさんに頼めば手助けしてくれます。 またエルナさんは料理がとても得意で、盛り付けもおしゃれ。 毎回食事のたびに歓声を上げました。 朝食は宿泊料金に含まれていますが、昼食や夕食もお願いすれば作ってくれます。 （有料ですが、良心的な値段です。） 私はエルナさんにリクエストして、滞在中に料理教室を開いてもらいました。 とても良い思い出になりました。 まだ娘さんが小さいので、子育てが大変そうです。 一日中、ゲストにかまってくれる訳ではありませんが、こちらからの相談にはいつでも乗ってくれます。

There aren't the words to describe how lovely and enjoyable our stay was at Pinilok. It was everything we hoped for and more. If you are looking for the best, most private place to stay on Sipura this is it. Unlike all the resorts nearby, you have your beach all to yourself!! The only humans we saw on our visit were all the lovely fellas who took care of us on the property and some local fishermen walking down the beach. Access to waves is spot on. Food is amazing. Anton will feed you the BEST fresh fish while Tirti can show you the best waves, snorkel spots, beaches, etc. We were missing our doggos so it was such a treat to have a brood of dogs on the property. If you are looking for a place that embodies the Mentawais, this is it. I wish we could keep the spot to ourselves but this is the place to go! Absolutely recommend and cannot wait to return.

整体感受非常好，里面的店长和服务员也超级好，还帮我们联系了看火山和出海的旅行公司。但没有热水淋浴和夜里4:30很清晰的祷告声，其实感受不太好。
