Cosy Stone Coach House near Glasgow

The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

Located in the very desirable St Andrew's Square, next to Glasgow Green park, on the north bank of the River Clyde. A 15 minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station & only 20 minutes walk to Glasgow Central. The nearest subway station - Saint Enoch, can be reached in a 12 minute walk, providing access to the west end & south of Glasgow. Glasgow Airport is 16 minutes away by car.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.
