Historic Sunflower Cottage, Tranquil and Romantic

Sunflower Cottage is a romantic self-catering cottage in McGregor, and is one of the oldest and most loved historical houses in the village. Originally built in the 1880’s, its thick adobe walls, original mud floors, reed ceilings and thatched roof are natural insulators against the heat and cold of the Little Karoo. Located in a quiet corner of the village, the cottage is perfect for couple getaways, to explore this historical town and surrounding winelands.

Dassieshoek - Ou Skool

Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Cloven Stones

Our place is a neatly restored original McGregor workers cottage with a beautiful large garden in a central location. The property is family and pet friendly (although please note we have 2 covered irrigation dams). Enjoy relaxing in the garden full of birds or explore the main street nearby. There is an outdoor braai, a large stoep and a gazebo for sunny days as well as an indoor anthracite fireplace indoors for chilly days.

"Krans Cottage"

Located in upper McGregor, right on the edge of the Krans reserve with stunning views and easy access to walking trails. A relaxed 10 minute walk to Tebaldis and the main street in town. The property is a newly built standalone small home with off street parking, free WiFi, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area and large patio areas to relax and enjoy the view anytime of the day. It has a gas stove, solar geyser and an inverter so TV, lights, fridge and wifi not affected at all. It is well-equipped for long stays, centrally located in the Robertson wine valley on route 62. Enjoy lovely views of the vineyards, orchards and moutains.
