Rustigue is a play of words: ‘rustig’ is Dutch for tranquil; the style of the cottage is ‘rustic’ with a combination of all things to love: old, new, done up. The cottage is surrounded by rimu trees, native bush and ferns. It is well away from the main house and has its own driveway, so you have total privacy. Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

Hello and welcome to our boutique accommodation ideally situated in the heart of Matakana village, an easy 45 minute drive north of Auckland. Our architecturally designed property offers two private luxurious suites, each with their own ensuite. Please note $200 / $250 per night is the rate per suite which accommodates two guests, if you require to book the cottage the rate is $400/$500 per night accommodating four guests.
