Whether it be vineyards, cafes and boutique shops you are after or bike trails, exploring the local lakes and landscape it’s all on your doorstep. There is good 4G cell-phone coverage. Check-in is by lock-box.

This newly built self contained guest unit has uninterrupted beautiful views from the bedroom and private outside space. Located near Masterton hospital and golf club, you can be at Castlepoint, Riversdale, or Greytown and Martinborough for beaches, vineyards, tramping or boutique shopping within 20-45 minutes. Ideal for a couple or solo traveller there is a private outside BBQ and patio space, wifi and car parking on site. The unit is a 4km paved walk to The Queen Elizabeth Park and CBD

The Alchemist Retreat, Studio, Carterton

5 minutes to Greytown, 15 mins to Tauherenikau and Masteron, 20 mins to Martinborough, The Alchemist Retreat is central to visit vineyards, The Martinborough Fair, Round the Vines, Greytown's July Midwinter Festival and so on. A stylish, french country vibes studio, with a limesand meandering path from the carpad, through the garden is an oasis. Separate to the host's house, the studio is an ideal getaway for peace and tranquillity. Located near Carterton town centre and railway station.

White shed, modern rustic

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

Broadway Cottage

Whether a romantic break away, business or leisure - this is the perfect spot to explore the South Wairarapa! Broadway Cottage provides comfortable self contained studio accommodation. Situated in our garden on large section with sunny verandah to relax. Within 5 minutes walk of The Square with it's cafes, restaurants, pubs, boutique shops and local movie theatre. Short driving / cycle distance to many vineyards (15-20min walk) and Martinborough golf course.

Our self-contained, double-glazed, fully insulated compact cabin is well appointed. It stands alone on our lifestyle property, private from our house with fabulous views to the Remutakas. There is an outdoor covered BBQ area. Relax in the ~bath~ under the stars. We have a small dog (Lucy), sweet barky Huntaway (Ruby), donkeys (Phoebe, Anna & Lily) & August (cat). All very friendly. One small fur baby allowed. Please advise when booking.

If you are travelling for work, we are only a minute off the main highway.

Welcome to our luxury peaceful escape location. Just 60 minutes from Wellington, your private suite overlooks Lake Wairarapa and is surrounded by farmland, bush and lake views and includes your own private spa and gardens - a perfect place to escape, gaze at the night sky, and relax. Single nights available Sunday-Thursday, no cleaning fees, a light breakfast is included, and a kitchen and BBQ are available for self-catering.

Cottage @ The Groves

A little bit rustic - a little bit cute - a little bit romantic. Our Cottage is just a 4 minute drive from the heart of Martinborough and is set amongst our Olive Grove. Soak in the outdoor bathtub and enjoy the stunning night sky. Or enjoy a BBQ and relax by the outdoor fire on your private patio. Better yet, grab the picnic blanket and find a nice spot and have a drink under the olive trees. Come and spoil yourself!

The Rural Studio

A private studio with stylish bathroom and kitchenette in a quiet rural setting. 5 minutes from SH2 and Carterton town and train station (to Wellington). Located in the heart of the Wairarapa, convenient for events and attractions, Greytown and Martinborough. Horse grazing and yards also available on request for $20/night. A great stop-off to recharge en route to Horse of the Year Show.

Studio 25 is a charming room in a country garden setting. It is right next door to an accessible vineyard (with tasting room) and only 5 minutes stroll from town. Facilities include heat pump, TV, ensuite shower and toilet, and basic kitchen facilities (fridge, microwave, toaster, etc.) It is ideally situated as a venue from which you can experience Martinborough hospitality.
