It is the perfect place to return to at the end of the day or sit back and enjoy the view. Recommendations will be provided on what to see and do in and around Lisbon upon arrival. Located on the second level, the floor to ceiling windows look out onto colourfully tiled buildings, characteristic of Lisbon. The spacious home is both bright and cozy, with hardwood floors throughout. The apartment is comprised of 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom with a double shower, a fully equipped kitchenette and a living room. The bedrooms can accommodate 4 guests, one bedroom has a queen-sized bed and desk, while the other contains two single beds. The kitchenette is modern and well-equipped with an oven, microwave and dishwasher. Also available in the apartment are a washing machine and WIFI. Guests staying at Cantinho da Lapa have access to the entire apartment. During your stay someone will always be available either by telephone or, if need be in person, to help with any questions or concerns. The setting is a peaceful street near several restaurants, and just a short walk from the city's central sights. Stroll in the Parque Eduardo VII, browse the big-name boutiques of Avenida de Liberdade, view the entire city from the beautiful Torel lookout, and people-watch in Marques de Pombal Square. There are so many places to eat, drink, and explore in this central neighbourhood, so close to everything but away from the tourist crowds. Four metro lines are within a 7 to 12 minute walk. Cantinho da Lapa’s centralized location provides easy access to where you want to go. Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon's main thoroughfare and shopping street, is just an 8 minute walk away! The apartment also has great public transport options as it is located within walking distance of all 4 metro lines: Picoas (Yellow line, 7 minutes), Marques de Pombal (Blue and Yellow lines, 10 minutes), Anjos (Green line, 12 minutes) and Saldanha (Red and Yellow lines, 15 minutes). Additional transportation is available via 6 city bus routes that pass nearby: 706, 712, 720, 753, 760, 774. While it is not necessary to have a car in Lisbon, if you choose to do so there are a number of parking options available nearby. Parking is available on the street in front of and surrounding the apartment. Street parking is free on weekends and weekdays from 19:00 in the evening to 9:00 in the morning. During the day paid parking is available for a maximum of 4 hours for €4.80 (the meter can be refilled after 4 hours). A public parking lot is available just a 5-minute walk away for a daily maximum of €5.30. Hotel parking garages are also available for no more than €12 per 24-hour period.
