Nestled along the Mississinewa River near James Dean's hometown, Taylor Univ and Indiana Wesleyan Univ, we were originally named Harrisburg, until the natural gas boom of the 1800s. The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. Salamonie State Property surrounds the Carriage House on three sides which means, this is all public land for you to explore! The Carriage House shares five acres with our residence. The Carriage House has loads of rustic charm, however, the modern amenities will keep you comfortable! Whether you're horseback riding, fishing, boating, hiking, biking on the Wabash County Trail, seeing a show at the Honeywell Center or just simply...want to get away, the Carriage House is awaiting your arrival!

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Enjoy wildlife, kayaking, fishing, campfires, horses, hiking and games. We also have a sauna and a hot tub available on the premises There is Roku TV and WIFI in the cabin. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the swing or rocking chairs and listen to the night sounds or chat with friends. You can also enjoy a campfire and cook over the open fire on our tripod grill. We have 2 other cabins and our cozy apartment listed.

This home is located across from the Delaware County Fair grounds in a very quiet neighborhood centrally located in Muncie sitting very close to Ball State University and IU Hospital and if you like to bike ride, Cardinal Greenway bike trail is very close by. Enjoy the many games provided for all age groups along with some grilling out , corn hole games and enjoy some hot tub time under the stars.

This lovely little retreat will not disappoint. I think you will find it to be a relaxing and comfortable place to spend your time in Muncie. We've provided the basics so that it can be your home away from home: fully functioning kitchen, coffee options, hi speed internet, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, bedding, xfinity flex with tv, and board games. 1/2 mile to shops & dining or a walk along the river, 1 mile to BSU. Close the day grilling out while you watch the gorgeous sunset.

You’ll think you are in the country when you arrive at our peaceful 10 acre property right in Muncie. Located near our historic home, built in 1848, you’ll find a carriage house with an upstairs apartment with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is a quaint, rustic cabin like space with private outdoor area. You are only five to 10 minutes from BSU and IU Ball Hospital, downtown, Elm Street Brewing, the Children’s Museum, walking trails and most restaurants.

The pool house is close to Muncie, Indiana and Ball State and Taylor Universities. We are also only about 5 miles from Barn on Boundary and have hosted several wedding parties. You’ll love our place because of the location, it feels like a secluded lodge. The timber frame structure is unique and has all the comforts of home. It has a very open floor plan and is very quiet and peaceful. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (dogs).

The Garden Cottage at The English Rose is a beautiful, clean, spacious, light and airy 750 sqft , 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. This renovated carriage house is adjacent to our 1903 Queen Anne Victorian and is a registered historical landmark of Kokomo, Indiana. The garden cottage gets it’s name by being surrounded by beautiful lush perennial gardens. Only registered guests allowed. Small, well trained, apartment dogs under 12lbs allowed.
