Outside, a 200 sq/ft veranda offer space to enjoy fresh air, sunshine, a good book, and incredible country views. When not enjoying the natural beauty of the 14 acre property, the chalet also offers professionally designed interior, full kitchens/BBQ, SMART TV, free Wifi, electric fireplace, heat and air conditioning. With no immediate neighbors, our chalet is surrounded by forest and farm land and can be the perfect place to relax, and unwind while overlooking the Valley below. It is the perfect balance of having all the amenities of home, as well as the opportunity to enjoy some peaceful time away. Regardless, on 14 acres, there is lots of room to stretch your legs! Hosts will be available via call/text/email or Airbnb message during your stay with us. If a problem arises, a team member will be on site to solve with problem as quickly as possible. Approximately 6 kilometers off Cabot Trail, this location is the perfect base for your trip around the Trail, or around Western and Central Cape Breton. Our proximity to Inverness, Baddeck, Cheticamp and Ingonish make day trips from this base easy. As the last civic address on a public road, we are reachable by motor vehicle year round. During winter months our location is also easily accessible by snowmobile, and during the Spring, Summer and Autumn by ATV.

Explorer's Cottage provides a country experience on 150 wooded acres, with a private beach, a botanical park-like forest, bird watching, an orchard, a Japanese meditation garden, library, paved pathways, and a hiking path, all with a refined interior. The Green Chalet at Cabot Shores

It’s big enough for eight people and has a full kitchen, dining and sitting area, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a covered deck, fire pit, and picnic table. There’s a wood stove for colder months. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the large open room upstairs has a king and three twin beds. A futon is in the living room. Linens, towels, and soap provided. You can bring your dog for $15 a night. A large hot tub is also available on your deck.
