Great unit and excellent host. I personally liked the area and appreciated the very short walk to the nearby metro which provided quick service to central Barcelona - once power was restored after what apparently was the worst power outage in Spain's history. Rubens was very helpful in advising me through the transportation chaos wrought by the outage (the blackout happened about 2 hours before I landed at the airport), remaining in constant contact throughout the day/evening. When I finally arrived at the unit late that night, Rubens greeted me, bringing out candles and letting me borrow his lighter in case the blackout outlasted the candles (the power was STILL out). Finally that night the power was restored and my stay was uneventful thereafter, thankfully. The garden was exceptional, was great hanging out there in the sun. The rest of the unit was well-appointed for a solo traveler and would easily work for two. I definitely recommend Rubens and his Refugio Chic.

The apartment was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described – even better in person. The view from the balcony was amazing, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Gorka was a wonderful host: very friendly, responsive, and full of helpful local recommendations. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! – Melih

Très bel appartement, très propre et soigné. Le logement est très bien situé, proche de la plage (à moins de 10 minutes à pied), des restaurants, commerces, activités, etc... Et tout peut se faire à pied... Je recommande le logement de Sofia qui a été très réactive à toutes mes demandes Encore merci nous avons passé un excellent séjour, nous savons où relouer la prochaine fois. Top !!!

Oscar ist sehr professionell, versteht wirklich was Gastfreundschaft heisst, Ist zuvorkommend, stets hilfsbereit und hat sehr höfliche Umgagsformen. Bei ihm fühlt man sich sofort wohl, fast wie zuhause und das in einer Grossstadt! Seine Wohnung ist top! Man muss ihn einfach weiterempfehlen 😊

Nuestra estancia fue muy cómoda. Los anfitriones estuvieron siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar con todo lo que necesitábamos, respondiendo rápidamente a cada consulta, incluso nos orientaron con el uso del metro. La casa está perfectamente equipada, en una ubicación excelente: con el metro cerca, supermercados, cafeterías y todo lo necesario a mano. La terraza es un verdadero plus, ideal para relajarse al final del día. La entrada y salida fueron muy fáciles gracias a las facilidades que nos ofrecieron. Además, la zona es tranquila y por la noche se descansa muy bien. ¡Repetiríamos sin dudar

Appartement très convivial et spacieux. Il correspond aux photos avec un bon rapport qualité/prix. Hôtes très sympathiques et réactifs.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la casa de Roger qui était super réactif et très sympathique. La maison était très propre et équipée jusqu’au sel. L’emplacement était parfait pas loin du centre de Barcelone mais assez pour être tranquille dans un quartier sécurisé. Bref tout était parfait pour notre famille.

In de afgelopen week hebben wij als gezin mogen verblijven in het huis in Gualba. Een ruim en schoon huis met twee badkamers, voldoende slaapplaatsen, een zolder voor ontspanning of werkplek, fijne balkons en achtertuin waarin ook een jacuzzi beschikbaar was (absolute aanrader). De host is ontzettend aardig en attent. Met tips voor eetgelegenheden, activiteiten en bezienswaardigheden. De stad Barcelona is met 30 min per trein prima bereikbaar. Op 20 min. per auto het strand van Blanes en aan de rand van een nationaal natuurgebied. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten en vinden het een aanrader. Mocht de gelegenheid zich voordoen zouden wij beslist nog eens terugkomen.

Armen and Vera's house is simply wonderful! We are beyond grateful that we got to spend two months there. Thoughtful and creative design with unique pieces from wall art to barometers to curtains and tiles (far beyond your average 'box store'-decor rental house) plus quality, comfortable furnishings throughout. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and easy to use. Filtered water on tap was added bonus. The living room fireplace was efficient and enchanting for cold Spanish winter and we enjoyed the outdoor grill, too. The brand new swimming pool is gorgeous! The hanging chairs were perfect reading nooks. We enjoyed daily walks to the long, white beaches of Calafell and the Espai Natural de Les Madrigueres (wetlands area at the beach with bird watch), and the Guernica memorial. The local market was lovely with excellent produce (outside of the Mercadona, but in same building) and perfect little taverna/cafe. This house is better than the photos. Nous sommes plus que ravis de notre séjour chez Jose Manuel. Le logement est à environ 30 min de Barcelone, conforme à sa description, très propre et très bien équipé (tout est pensé pour que nous ne manquions de rien, c’est très confortable). Nous avons également fortement apprécié l’extérieur du logement. De plus, Jose Manuel a été très arrangeant du début à la fin, et il nous a conseillé des lieux à proximité afin que notre séjour se passe au mieux, et à toujours répondu à nos interrogations.

Todo muy bien, incluso mejor que en las fotos. Las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas para alojar 3 o 4 personas. El salón es grande (le faltaría, a mi parecer, una mesita baja de centro delante del sofá enfrente de la TV). La terraza y la mesa de fuera están muy bien para desayunar o cenar en la terraza. Y las piscinas son fantásticas. Buena relación precio-calidad.

très bon emplacement et avec vue sur la mer depuis le balcon, la climatisation et le Wi-Fi sont un vrai plus, l appartement est très bien équipé et les photos correspondent vraiment. Mr Dalibor est très agréable et réactif, tout comme le service de conciergerie, personnel très accueillante et agréable.

Ich hatte einen super Aufenthalt bei Mireia und habe mich direkt sehr willkommen und zu Hause gefühlt. Wir hatten ein tolles Zusammenleben mit guten Gesprächen. Ich hatte aber auch einen guten Rückzugsort nach langen Tagen auf den Beinen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Zu Fuß oder mit Bus und Bahn ist man schnell überall. Das einzige Manko ist, dass es im Zimmer kein Fenster nach außen sondern nur ins Treppenhaus gibt. Die Luft war aber dennoch gut und die Wohnung kühl. Ich würde als Alleinreisende wiederkommen :)
