We had a wonderful stay at Deepu’s place. It’s a beautiful cottage, a blend of English countryside stone cottage and a Swiss chalet, very nicely done…well equipped! Lovely surroundings. Shijo, the caretaker is a gem - ensuring excellent hospitality and tasty local cuisine! All in all, we had a very relaxing stay, just what we wanted!

Very beautiful and quiet surroundings. But the approach Road was slightly difficult to navigate.. Last 100 mts only one vehicle can pass. Also mobile range is poor so difficult to call and ask for directions. Food was nice for a 2 day stay but more than that can get repetitive. Not too many places to eat close by.. Atleast have to drive half an hour for a restaurant. For the price you pay it was definitely worth it.

I had a fantastic stay as Joshy's place. Joshy was very kind to provide us a very a detail description about the surroundings and restaurants nearby. The location was very serene. I would highly recommend this place

Roads were fabulous and the property is right by the roadside. space to spare even after parking two cars. A small kids play area and a glass floored open balcony with a mountain and sunrise view. the bar also was very scenic

What a beautiful home! So serene, calm and beautiful views throughout. Mithun has really put a lot of thought into every aspect which is really appreciated. Getting to the stay is easiest by car as it's a slightly steep hilly walk, though a very pleasant one. The whole place is bright and airy, with stunning views yet very private. Yeshu, the kindly caretaker was around to help as best he could. The stay has no TV which I felt was a plus as you can really enjoy the stay while you're there, and Mithun has left lots of activities (badminton set, dart board) to keep guests entertained. Great suggestions for nearby food places, though I'd also suggest trying the real local smaller eateries where we had some really great food. Overall I'd recommend this stay, well worth it. superhost for a reason. Gautham always had us communicated and asked promptly about any thing that we need. the caretaker in the property was also very prompt and we got bonfire and BBQ on time. the only thing that is a little bit tricky is reaching the parking of thumpayil hills, because Google maps shows shortcuts and that landed us in trouble. i would recommend taking to Gautham on how to reach and follow the same. food was good and Gautham also booked jeep ride for us for local attractions. the view from top of chakkipara hill above the property is breathtaking. We will definitely recommend this property for visitors if they want some adventure and are fine with secluded properties away from hustle and bustle of City. Here only sunlight and chirping of birds will be there.

The Planter''s Foyer is in a magical place, Kamballikad. It is the result of friends and families coming together under the shared vision of natural building and nature based living. The architectural touches are just divine, from the use of natural materials like stone, wood and reclaimed stuff, to antique pieces and soulful stuff dotting everything - it is quite something- a class apart from the average concrete monstrosity put together usually in Kerala. We booked for two days and stayed on location the whole time. Making walks to find sunrise and sunset spots, to being served meals three times a day by the caretaker Shijo- which had its highlights: Idiappam, the pork curry, among many things. I loved the skylight in the bathrooms, the shade for the lamps, the wooden boxes for all electrical fixtures. The last stretch to the location is a task for the unseasoned driver, the cllimb is very steep and I struggled, but we could have utilised the caretaker's offer to drive up

We had an amazing time at this peaceful homestay. It was truly as described, surrounded by beautiful nature. We were well looked after by our caretakers Arun, Shinto and Ajith. This felt like a real added luxury. They catered to our every need, including organising a car and tour of Vagamon. Special thanks to Arun for sourcing some jackfruit for us and his mum for making a delicious jackfruit vegetable dish! Our 10-month old was gobbling it up straight from the serving bowl! The pool was inviting and refreshing, also naturally shaded by some trees which was perfect for the kids. Minor point but there was no high chair- these were surprisingly hard to come by generally during our travels in Kerala! There were also a fair few mosquitoes so would recommend good repellent, the homestay did provide a couple of plug in ones, but probably need more and some coils for outdoors as well. All in all a lovely stay and very memorable experience, thanks for hosting us.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Misty Hogans-Hill Station stay near Munnar- 3 BHK! From the moment I booked, the host’s communication was excellent, ensuring a smooth experience. Their caretaker was incredibly helpful—not only did they assist in reaching the location, but they also prepared delicious home-cooked meals that made the stay even more special. The property itself is stunning, blending thoughtful architecture with sustainability. As someone who appreciates design, I was impressed by the intricate details, and when I mentioned this to the host (a civil engineer), he personally called me to share fascinating insights about the construction and features, including the rainwater harvesting system. Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable—from the warm hospitality to the serene ambiance of the place. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience. I would love to visit again!
