A great to place to stay! It was beautiful to be right on the lake and a great place to stay! We will definitely be back again!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. The back yard was perfect for our blind doggie to wander around. The walking trail wasn't long, but it had a big hill so my heart got pumping. We would definately stay here again!

We had 8 of us up to play the Arcadia golf courses and this place was perfect for our stay. Sitting by the river or playing pool we couldn't stop talking about how nice it was. Check in and out was simple if you need a place to stay close to Manistee or if you and a group of friends are planning a golf trip this is the place to stay!

Reed’s Bar Lake was a pleasure to rent. We loved the view. We loved hearing the Loons, watching the Mallards and Canada Goose Family. Sunsets and sunrise are beautiful. Fire pit was enjoyable. Space comfy. We hiked the trails by Audubon and the Stare Park down the road. Hope to go back. Oh, her communication is quick.

This place is cute as a button with the layout and decorations! Not overly big or too small - just right! During the summer, it would be even more awesome being on the lake as this place and has kayaks and paddle boards! I really wish it had been warmer so I could have used them. Nice fire pit too. Books! Lots to choose from! My mom and I really enjoyed it! I look forward to coming back for each of the seasons!

Home was exactly as described. We had a group that went for steelhead fishing and it was about 20 minutes to the dam. Home had everything we needed for our stay. Very east check in, clean house, very large shower and cozy living room. Cozy Kitchen is great option for breakfast or lunch, Tracks Bar in Brethern or the Redneck Yacht Club are good choices for dinner. You can also take a drive into Manistee for shopping and restaurant options as well. I would definitely stay here again for another fishing trip.

The log cabin was fabulous. It was perfectly appointed and, even though not quite warm enough outside just yet, Bar Lake made all stress subside.

Our stay at Dan's place was fantastic. This is the second time we have stayed here. The area is beautiful and it is hard to beat the waterfront view. Dan was extremely accommodating and very responsive. I would not hesitate to book this house again!

Really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were fine and as advertised. The location and setting right on the lake was really super……very relaxing to sit outside at day’s end sipping glasses of wine. Also the location was very close to a beach and convenient to Manistee. We recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.
