Teratak Sekuchi is a semi-traditional timber house by the South China Sea. Originally built in KT town, it was relocated in 2007 to Mengabang Telipot, a typical fishing village. Furnished mainly with old wooden furniture and local decorations, it offers a taste of coastal village living with basic modern comforts. There’s no wifi, TV or air-cond. Welcome to our family owned, renovated and run historical home. A 100 year shophouse where your “entire area” is the top floor of our 3-story shophouse in the heart of Georgetown. Meticulously renovated from an existing birdhouse to its former glory. All renovation was carried out using recycled hard wood and red bricks. The electrical work and water piping are all exposed.
