A well-equipped, spacious apartment with a lovely view overlooking the marina. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have stated, the apartment building does have a busy main road between it and the marina so sitting on the balcony is not a peaceful experience (unless you wear noise cancelling headphones like I did) but the balcony doors are completely soundproofed, so inside you cannot hear the traffic. At first I was little dubious on arrival, as along the road there are some buildings which are in need of some tlc but having visited Sliema (where I also looked to stay) it is no different there and in fact I liked the location as it was only a 20 minute walk into Valletta or convenient for bus tops (only 4 mins away) to explore more of the island. I appreciated Christiane’s quick responses to any queries.

it was a very nice appartment, it was clean, nice view to to sea and the bay, well equipped and Luke was very helpful and was easy to communicate with him. The only thing what was a little inconvenient is that you could hear the wind blowing through the window when it was quite windy outside, but otherwise it's a really good appartment

Danke, Chris! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf Malta und dein Apartment war die perfekte Basis. Wir haben den überwältigenden Blick auf den Hafen und Valetta jeden Morgen genossen. Die Wohnung ist modern und sehr hochwertig eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts!

Wir waren Anfang April in der Unterkunft. Die Aussicht ist einfach der hammer ! Alle wichtigen Infos kriegt man vorweg von Matthew und Julian. Die Taxifahrer erreichen auch alle problemlos die Unterkunft. Tatsächlich kann ich auf der Insel vom Preis her Bolt eher empfehlen als Uber. Am Flughafen kann man sich auch direkt die Tallinja Karte (Bus-Karte) holen. Mithilfe der App kommt man problemlos von A nach B. Die Unterkunft ist auch optimal gelegen für den Treffpunkt der Tages-Kreuzfahrten zur Blue Lagoon und Gozo (7 min zu Fuß). In der Unterkunft selbst ist alles wichtige vorhanden. Da wir nur ein Handgepäck mitnehmen durften, waren unsere Mitbringsel begrenzt. So waren wir erleichtert, dort frische Handtücher und Duschzeug aufgefunden zu haben. Eine Flasche frisches Wasser sowie Toilettenpapier wurden auch zur Verfügung gestellt. Leckere Restaurants findet man überall entlang der Promenade (Empfehlung: Nine Lives und UMI) Die ersten Touris schwimmen bereits im Meer (jedoch kalt)

A peaceful place to stay right on the beach. There is a monoprix and several cafes/restaurants (incl. a great rotisserie chicken place and fancier sit down restaurant) walking distance. It is a quick 5-10min Bolt ride to the hustle and bustle downtown. We even walked the length of the beach to the downtown twice during the stay (1 hour walk straight down the beach). Instructions were clear, and it was easy to access despite being down a side road.

Absolutely wonderful five-day stay at this beautiful apartment in Sliema, Malta The apartment itself was very nice, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing meals, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the living area was bright and cozy. We especially loved the balcony, which offered a lovely view. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the waterfront, shops, restaurants, and ferry connections to Valletta. Despite being close to all the action, the apartment was peaceful and quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Sliema and would love to stay here again on my next trip to Malta!

A casa de Rodrick é espaçosa, bem equipada e com uma vista maravilhosa. A comunicação com o anfitrião foi excelente e sempre atendeu prontamente as nossas dúvidas. Ao fim de uma semana já me orientava muito bem e não me arrependo da localização nem de não ter alugado carro (conduzir à inglesa não é confortável e os transportes são baratos e com muitas ligações por barco e ferry e há muitos ubers/bolts). Birgu (Vitoriosa) é uma cidade calma e linda. Os transportes são fáceis e rápidos para Valletta (15 minutos), mas esta localização implica uma logística diária para ir e vir a Valletta dado que é lá o centro importante da ilha e de onde saem todos os autocarros para qualquer parte ou para apanhar os Ferry para Gozo ou ir para Comino. Para quem decidir alugar carro esta casa tem espaço próprio de estacionamento, o que é excelente. Foi uma escolha muito acertada!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt - bekanntermaßen - direkt am Strand und ist dort auch das einzige Wohnhaus. Es ist komplett ausgestattet, insbesondere in der Küche fehlt es auch an nichts. Und auch das renovierte Bad ist sehr schön. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Absolutely stunning view! We went outside of prime tourism season on purpose, and it was so beautiful and peaceful. We were met at the water taxi for help getting our luggage up to the house (thanks, Spiros!) and our host was very responsive and helpful with questions - and tons of great local recommendations! It is up about 50 stairs from the small harbor, so tough if anyone in your party has mobility issues. But the experience is absolutely worth it! Highly recommend.

The house was great and cosy with a stunning location by the beach in a relaxed neighborhood. We really enjoyed swimming and walking on the beach. The place was quiet, there was hardly any noise from the close by airport as the sound of the ocean waves dominated. Good for stargazing. Monika was very helpfull and made us feel welcome. Would higly recommend.

Wij hebben intens genoten van ons verblijf in Frente al Mar. Het voelde als thuis komen op een onbekende plek. Direct aan zee, tussen de Spanjaarden in de visserswijk El Palo. Maria is onwijs lief, gastvrij en meedenkend. Naast een brandschone accommodatie, werden we verwelkomt met boodschappen. Brood, water, fruit, noem maar op. Het huisje beschikt over alle comfort, wasmachine, vaatwasser, oven etc. maar ook strandlakens, speelgoed en strandstoelen. Voor onze kinderen was het de eerste keer Spanje, maar ik verwacht zeker dat wij nog eens terug gaan komen. Zeker bij Maria en ons huisje aan zee!

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici nella casa di Manolis! L alloggio si trova in una posizione molto tranquilla dove potersi godere qualche momento di pace assoluta. La casa è piccolina ma ha tutto ciò di cui si possa avere bisogno, non manca nulla. Manolis è stato un ospite eccellente! Ci ha accolte con frutta fresca e dolci fatti in casa ed è sempre stato disponibile!

We chose to stay at Constantino’s stunning home as our last stop before leaving the beautiful island, and couldn’t have asked for a better base to end our time in Madeira. Constantino provided many local recs and was super responsive. The home was clean with everything we needed. Can’t say enough! Thank you!

as mentioned earlier on in the review, there are no words or pictures that could do this place justice. With an amazing town feel, restaurants with sunsets within 2 minute walking distance. waterfalls ocean waves splashing all night long right at your back window.... thousand foot mountain across the street behind you with a waterfall. literally like paradise. I encourage everyone who stays here to make sure you have a rental vehicle and tore the entire island. I'll never forget this trip forever..

Excellent central location in Gibraltar with easy access to airport and public transport. Apartment was as described, good space and comfortable, with everything you would expect. Had an issue with electic power initially. However on messaging Luke he was immediate responsive and issue resolved. Excellent communication from Luke. Fantastic stay and would definitely return!

Mijn gezin(man, vrouw, 2 kids van 5 en 8) hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad tijdens ons verblijf. Het is niet al te groot maar voor 4 man prima. Zwembaden zijn groot en er zijn ligbedden voldoende. Het is een paar minuten lopen naar de restaurants en het strand. Er zijn voldoende (strand)handdoeken beschikbaar. We hebben mooie uitstapjes gemaakt naar plaatsjes in de buurt. Als ik 1 punt van aandacht zou mogen geven dan zou een klein boekje/foldertje met wat advies over goede restaurantjes in de buurt en leuke activiteiten en tips een leuk pluspunt zijn. Er zitten hele grote verschillen in prijs en kwaliteit van de restaurants in de buurt en zonde als je bij de verkeerde binnen stapt. Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Valentino en Fernando op loopafstand. En daarnaast goed gegeten bij Sol&Luna in Puerto de Mogan. Daarnaast is het leuk om de ferry te pakken naar Mogan of Puerto Rico. Dit kost weinig en je kan vlakbij opstappen.

big and modern apartment with great views and has everything you need for a stay in the algarve. Easy walk into the old town and by car can easily visit beaches and other towns. The kids loved the pool so a big tick for families or anyone just looking to relax for a few days.

Firas was an excellent host. He is very responsive and helpful if you have an additional needs. The place is very clean and located right next to the beach and lots of restaurants. Highly recommend.

Very nice flat. Central location, close to shopping and restaurants. Great view of Valletta. We dealt with Tina, the property manager, who was always quick to respond. Would recommend this flat to anyone staying in Sliema.

So sollte Airbnb immer sein: zuverlässiger, reaktionsschneller und höflicher Gastgeber. Saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft. Klare Empfehlungen für die Gegend. Unkomplizierter Checkin und auch noch ein toller Bonus in Form von Früchten, Kaffee, Bier etc. 100%ige Weiterempfehlung.

Mona is the perfect host and excellent communicator , she even kindly picked us up from the airport and gave us a mini guided tour. We really enjoyed our stay in Agadir . Thanks
