A cozy private cabin right on the water. Loft bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and large screened porch make it the perfect getaway. The cabin sits at waters edge, in a large pristine bay with easy water access and quiet woodlands behind. Solar powered with amenities including wifi and lights. Propane heat, cook stove, water. Firepit, bbq, picnic table. Just minutes north of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Less than 1km from sandy barrier beaches and ocean swimming. Two kayaks on site

Little Cottage in the Wood

Small cottage in South Harbour, on the Cabot Trail. Small bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Queen mattress is considered"plush". Shops, restaurants, museums, hiking trails, whale tours, other adventures and beaches nearby. Just beside Highlands National Park entrance which is convenient for those who are nature lovers and enjoy hiking trails in the park. It is secluded by trees. ( Cottage is not a good fit for young children, as the utility panels are located in unlocked closets.)

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Although we do allow fur babies, please take note of the additional rules with regards to pets.
