The house is set in great privacy on 1.6 acres of gardens and woodland at the end a long driveway accessed through electric gates. Perfect location for enjoying local amenities or exploring the rest of Ireland - 2 hours to most tourist spots.

A relaxing and quiet place to rest , explore and discover the rich culture and diversity of county Clare, close to many places of interest like the Burren National park, Coole park. Barngables Tiny Cottage is a cosy hideaway were you can really relax. The cottage stands in its own grounds alongside Barngables Stone House which is listed separately. Just a 25 minute drive from Galway City and set in Connemara which is renowned as an area with stunning scenery the cottage is in a perfect location to explore the West of Ireland. Lough Corrib, where wild trout can be caught lies at the bottom of our lane. Oughterard is our bustling and picturesque local town.

The village is a leisurely ten-minute walk away. There are many cafes, a French patisserie, numerous pubs with trad music and several restaurants along with two hotels. Killaloe also serves as a base for exploring Nenagh, Limerick and Galway.
