Our house is in a small rural community on the southwest coast of the Key Peninsula, 90 minutes from Seattle, and 45 minutes from Tacoma. We have everything you need for a relaxing get-away: a well-equipped kitchen, books and board games, turntable and records, and a smart TV. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Great 180 degree Views from south end of Vashon Island. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance. Tacoma city and Commencement Bay lights up views at night while Pt. Defiance is dark. This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Forest Hideaway House with hot tub and trail

Guests enjoy the exclusive and private use of the cottage and 8 acre property on Harstine Island. Harstine Isl. State Park and Jarrell Cove State Park are a short drive away w/ access to Puget Sound. A trail meanders through the woods in the back half of the property, behind a small orchard. Relax and warm up in the hot tub under a canopy of trees. We have very fast high speed wifi internet, great for tv/movie streaming/working remotely. We are about 1 hr 45 min drive from World Cup in Seattle.

Blue Goose is located at the historic Babich-Bailey Netshed, within easy walking distance of all Gig Harbor has to offer. Use the kayaks to paddle around Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Complete with two en suite staterooms, a cozy living room, and a view of sunsets and Mount Rainier! Please read the "Guest access" section for property use restrictions. The cottage and companion pirate ship tree house are steps from the shore where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and leisurely beach walks. On 23 acre horse farm with 510 feet of private beach and 1 1/2 miles of walking trails. Relax, enjoy eagles, blue heron, seals, and an occasional Orca.

Whitman Lake is just ~45 min south of Tacoma and ~45 min north of MRNP... a perfect home base for your adventures.
