The accommodation was basic and could do with some updating, but this is fairly reflected in the price. It was comfortable well located and perfectly suited our needs for a short stay. If you’re looking for somewhere simple and affordable, this does the job well.

Queen apartment in central Gili Trawangan

I enjoyed staying here. The room was clean and all the essentials provided. Located just a short walk from the port with everything you need in direct proximity. I will say tho that you do hear the mosque and sometimes people on the street up in the room, which didn’t bother me but maybe is something light sleepers should take into consideration. Otherwise definitely a recommendation, would stay there again.

I loved staying at Nalua! They were so friendly and easy to communicate with. The breakfast and guest rooftop was a great place to start my day and the staff helpful. I also loved that they cleaned my room every time I asked, it was so nice to come home to after spending a day out in Kuta exploring beaches and towns. Thank you Nalua!

Ilham is a 5 star host. He is by far one of the best and the most professional Airbnb host I have ever met. He will help you with from local tips to motorbike rental. For us, he even took the extra mile and prepared a wonderful dinner dish which is considered exclusive in the region. Highly recommended! 5 stars!!

Nearly perfect for my stay in Kuta. First the GOOD! The hosts and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The space itself is so spacious with plenty of room to spread out. Wi-Fi and tv made both productivity/working and relaxing very easy. Personally, I loved the location tucked away in a more local neighborhood rather than the main road. Still, very easy access to main road and town with a scooter. Also, I didn’t find it at all difficult to reach despite some previous comments. The bad. It’s quite warm. There is AC but due to the construction and size of the unit, you may still find it a bit warm. Not the worst but not the best. Lots of mosquitoes. Honestly an easy fix with some spray, but if you’re sensitive to or attract them, be warned. A little bit noisy for its secluded location. Noise comes from staff below, neighbors next door and construction across the street. Really it only bothered me twice during my week long stay, but if you need total quiet maybe not the best.

Loved the location of Har’s place. As I had a suitcase it was very convenient to walk directly within a few minutes from Gili Air port. The room, kitchen and bathroom were very basic but did the trick as I only needed a place to sleep. The location of this place was key to staying in Gili Air as its close to all the good shops and restaurants. The electricity cut out on my first night which was island-wide and Har was so lovely to bring over a candle and some water for me. It wasn’t a problem at all I just wondered if it was a nightly island thing but was just bad timing. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, I would highly recommend due to the location for basic needs.

Logement basique, mais l’on s’y sent tellement bien grâce à l’accueil chaleureux de ses hôtes. Daeng et son épouse Hayati sont très accueillants et on se sent rapidement comme à la maison. Le petit déjeuner fourni est copieux. Le lit est large et confortable. Daeng se rend disponible et est toujours heureux de nous venir en aide ou de répondre aux questions. Les - : la pression de la pommette de douche est basse et l’eau est froide mais c’est quelque chose de commun sur l’île. Il y a de la rouille sur les poignées de porte. J’avais réservé le bungalow pour une semaine uniquement, et j’ai ensuite prolongé mon séjour pour un mois entier. Je recommande cet endroit pour les longs séjours surtout si l’on cherche de l’authenticité et le contact avec les locaux.

We loved our stay here! The suites are awesome and the pool was a great addition. Staff were always helpful and friendly. For breakfast I recommend banana juice and mie goreng! Delicious!

Lucys Garden Family Bungalow

We stayed a week as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, and honestly we could have stayed another week! Lucy’s garden is an absolute gem; quiet and peaceful with a great pool, in the best location on the island. The bungalow is perfect for a family, plenty of space. Ilham and the staff are lovely also, always happy to lend a hand and help organise bikes etc :) We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the time at Ilhams homestay a lot. The name „feelhome“ is taken because he want that the guest feel home and be more like familie and friends not only guest. So the room is very clean and nice everything is there also air condition and a big bathroom. The view is amazing on the mountains. The area is quiet even it is near to the city! You can rent a scooter for only 50k day and explore the island from his location. You don’t need to switch location because everything is reachable around 1-1,5 hours as the island is not so big. If you don’t like scooter Ilham has a car and offer also transportation. He can pick up from airport or drop you off where ever you want for good price. He can also organize special trips as he has friends every where on Lombok and also hole Indonesia. Also for group possible. So he can give very good insider Tipps and recommendations what do to with special price because if connection. WiFi is very good also and breakfast was very good. You can choose between different options. We had everyday another location typical breakfast. If you need to wash also laundry service possible. He is a very good cooker and offers local food dinner at his house on the roof with nice view. You can grill fish there for example - very nice. I can highly recommend his place. He find a solution for everything very helpful and friendly. Speaks many different languages :) thanks for everything, we will come back!

Superb! Ilham is a great host and he is more than very knowledgable about Lombok and all it has to offer. The location is very central, ideal for visiting all the splendour of the island. Ilham goes there and beyond in adding value to your trip. He can not only pick you up from Praya airport but he points you in every direction you wish. From finding the groceries you need to arranging multiple day hikes or even cooking and having a meal. This is your entrance to Lombok life and a journey to remember. 100% recommended!
