There is also fine ski conditions during the winter. Close by is Møysalen National Park where you find Raftsund/Trollfjord few minutes away by boat, marked hiking trails, a local shop and cafe. The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.
