Charming, Historic Lewes Cottage

This charming cottage is a great romantic getaway. It is cozy and an easy walk into the historic town of Lewes ~ many great restaurants are nearby. Lewes is a fascinating & historic town with so much to do: biking, canoeing, birding, beach time, museums, and more. The doors of the Cottage have low head jams and the stairs are compact. There is some noise from the nearby road ~ a white noise machine is provided. The cottage is compact, the refrigerator for the Cottage is a small one.

We are two blocks away from the library, scenic walking/biking trails, 1.02 miles from beach and within walking distance of many restaurants.

Take in an outdoor concert at Canal Front Park, enjoy a cocktail at The Sussex Tavern all within blocks of the cottage or relax and steep yourself in this historic home’s charm in the private yard and gardens.

The Garden Apartment

Bubba & Banjo’s was built as a home for me and my husband before we bought our first house. And now we get to share it with others! Luxury garage apartment, barndominium, pole barn are a few words people have used when describing the spot. The garden view might be one of my favorite things but the spacious tile shower is a close runner up! It’s simple but checks all the boxes for what a great rental spot should be in our opinion.
