Blue Mountains Garden Studio on Historic Property

If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil, relaxing escape to the Blue Mountains, then Mount Booralee is the place for you. Nestled on 20 acres of private, natural bushland in Blackheath, Mount Booralee, first settled in 1880, is one of the mountain’s most historic properties. The 1930's Federation style home is surrounded by stunning formal gardens and parkland areas with a lily pond, water garden and the Summit – a high rocky outcrop offering panoramic views of the surrounding district.

Romantic, adults-only retreat with firepit and private cedar hot tub. Our renovated 1920s cottage is only 15 minutes walk to Katoomba town centre and has all the luxuries of an upscale hotel: free mini bar, deep slipper bathtub, fancy robes, air-con, fast wifi, smart 4K TV, and huge king-size bed with luxurious flax linen sheets. Fiddler's Green Cottage is walking distance to Leura village. Afternoons in the enormous garden having a Bbq with the birds or a walk to any one of the beautiful vantage points. Fiddlers Green is comfortable, couches, beds to snuggle up in, or sitting nooks in the garden. Front balcony is a sunny spot for lunch. Fire pit for a wine and chat in the back yard. Walking tracks are close to the house or a short drive to National Parks. For summer an adventure to the waterfalls or lake.

Make yourself a coffee and enjoy a sunny spot out in your garden to relax and enjoy the cool and clean mountain air.

This accommodation is ideal for those who prefer the rustic charm of a historic property over modern comforts. Warm and cosy in winter, the studio was once a purpose-built kitchen of a house built in 1888. Separate entrance. Recycled furniture, large bed, sofa, original fireplace and bathroom with shower cabin. Tiny veranda and a kitchenette, shared patio. NO KITCHEN. To use the fireplace, please BYO timber.
