This unique place has a style all its own. This 100 yr old cabin has been just remodeled. It is all new. Central heating and air. Indoor plumbing. Tempur Pedic beds with Bed Jets on each bed. Starlink high speed WIFI, Washer and Dryer. The creek is 20' from the porch with 2 water falls when it rains. Sit out back and enjoy the sound of the water and nature. We are right by two large ATV parks. The Elk hunting is Great! We have wild horses at the top of the property. The cabin sits on 100 acres.

The home is also located within an hours drive to the Red River Gorge, several lakes, ATV parks, mountain bike & hiking trails.

Bring only your toothbrush and personal items, everything else is provided for your mountain getaway!

The Stonehouse is conveniently located 6 miles from the city of Harlan where you can find groceries, fast food, local restaurants, and retail stores. If you are here to enjoy the mountains, the Putney Trailhead of the Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area is 5 miles from The Stonehouse. Parking area will accommodate 3-4 vehicles with two spaces for trailers.

The Big House @ Wendover - Historic Home

Take a trip back in time at this historic property! The Big House boasts 4 bedrooms, multiple dining areas, a lovely gathering room and stunning mountain views from every window. Once the home of Mary Breckenridge, the founder of Frontier Nursing Service, guests from all over the world have visited here to enjoy a true Appalachian experience. The home is warm, inviting, and provides total relaxation for all who visit us throughout the year. Wendover is the heart of our community!

Wendover Cottage - 3 BR 2 BA

The Cottage at Wendover is part of the historical property once home to Mary Breckinridge's Frontier Nursing Service. It offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large living and dining area and kitchen. There is also a new front porch with mountain views! Plenty of parking, free wifi and pets are welcome too! Guests love the coziness and comfort this home offers. We have two sister properties that can be rented as well. The Barn and Suite at the Garden House also listed on Airbnb.

Mulberry House - Near Downtown Hazard

This stylish home is the perfect choice for guests looking for a great place to rest and relax. Centrally located on one of Hazard's most adorable streets near the downtown area. It offers 3 bedrooms, a newly remodeled bath, updated kitchen and a great little front porch with a swing. The WIFI works great and cell service is very good in this area. Guests love the warmth and charm of the decor and the location is safe and convenient to everything! And, pets are welcome too!

McIntosh Cabin - Off the Grid Getaway!

From the newly added back porch you can see horses grazing in the fields and a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. A true Appalachian experience. East Main Place is located on the edge of downtown Hazard. Originally built in 1962, you will find a clean and comfortable home away from home. Hardwood floors & laminate throughout and a new central heat and air unit. 50” Roku TV, including HBO Max and Paramount + , is provided in the living room. All utilities provided, including WiFi. Enjoy all the comforts of this fully furnished/stocked home with covered porch and wrap around deck overlooking East Main Street.
