We invite you to stay at "El Escondite" aka “The Hideout” and enjoy all Las Penitas has to offer from the comfort of your spacious and private beachfront oasis! Pool, comfortable furniture and hammocks on lower level patio and upstairs deck, plus a kitchen and alfresco dining area. What used to be Desperado’s Restaurant is now an extension of El Escondite- take advantage of private beach access and a second floor terrace with tables and hammocks overlooking ocean. Modern two-story bungalow with loft, perched atop a dramatic cliff overlooking an epic surf break in a tranquil fishing and surf village on beachfront property. Features a full kitchen with a large oven, stove, and refrigerator. A queen and full bed in the loft and a pull out couch downstairs. A detached private bathroom, right outside the front door. We offer surfboard, snorkel rentals, surf lessons. We can arrange surfing and fishing boat trips. Unit is not directly oceanfront.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This lovely gatehouse offers privacy, a small kitchen, bathroom and open sitting space in a garden setting. You have full use of the property, fully equipped main kitchen, pool and beach access. The main house and property offer a peaceful place right on the beach. This is an adult oriented property intended to relax. The Gatehouse is ideal for longer-term stays or working vacations, but works well for a week get a way.

Enjoy the beauty of our remote fishing village from Casa Loro, which is named for the green parrots that eat the fruit from the trees just outside the front door. You'll have this stylish casita all to yourself as you enjoy the sound of surf and the ocean views from the loft. You will likely pass more cows than people as you walk on the beach. September to November is sea turtle nesting season and there are various surf breaks within walking distance.
