What a wonderful stay we had, from booking to arrival, departure and aftercare the hosts were amazing. The house was lovely, clean, spacious and a fab location for us and great local food establishments nearby. Nothing was too much trouble. We travelled a long way and were delayed a few times but the hosts were flexible and patient on waiting for us. I also left a couple of items in the house and they very kindly posted them back to me. I can't recommend this place and the hosts enough. I will definitely book with them again. Thank you!!

Beautiful cottage in a quiet setting with great walks & hikes from the doorstep & shops, restaurants, pubs & a local market all within 5 mins walk. Plenty in the immediate vicinity including a pay & display car park at the Hope & Anchor pub, just minutes away from the cottage. We parked our car there for 3 days straight, no issues & can pay via an app if preferred. We did a 10 mile hike from the cottage to Black Rocks & on to Cromford Mills. Loads of cool stuff to see & a lovely hike. You can easily drive to these places and just walk around them if preferred. The cottage was lovely. Clean, tidy & cosy; has everything you need & instructions if needed. We loved the yellow windows & doors, the window shutters, the wood beams, the door to the stairs & the smart projector. Naomi (& Martin) were great hosts from booking to check out. Proactive, helpful & positive and know the area well. Lovely people. If you're thinking of staying here, go ahead and get it booked. You'll love it :)

What a thoughtful host! All of the little extras were thought of making this a real home away from home stay. I hope to stay again and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you for making our Easter break to visit family locally extra special.

Our family stayed here with my friends. They are really kind for all of us including two kids. There are many toys and furnitures for children. We could be really relax. We would like to come again!

James was a very good and responsive host. Communication, directions etc. were spot on! The house was great. There were 6 of us in total - all adults. We did have a problem with a blocked toilet but James had this fixed quickly. There are 3 toilets in total so not a big problem. One star lost on cleanliness rating. On arrival there were crumbs across the dining table and a tea cup stain which we wiped away. Also, could have done with a towel in the downstairs bathroom. We also only had 1 tea towel which was done very quickly. We borrowed from family. Also, a lack of extra pillows meant we had to borrow cushions from the sofas. All very minor problems. I still felt it was value for money and would certainly book again next time we visit family in Nottingham
