This was our second stay at Casa Don Toribio, and it has officially become part of our family’s annual tradition. The home offers a peaceful, serene retreat — a true home-away-from-home. There is something uniquely special about this property; its simple, zen-like setting allows the natural beauty of Puerto Rico to shine all around. We loved exploring the local panaderías and savoring our morning coffee while surrounded by nature. Casa Don Toribio is truly a place where you can breathe deeply and recharge. The hosts are incredibly responsive and kind, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to make our stay memorable.

Our family had an amazing time at Casa Carey! Tucked in the peaceful mountains, it offered the perfect blend of serenity and easy access to town adventures. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house had everything we needed: comfy beds, strong Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor games, and even a projector room! The kids had lots of fun watching movies floating in the pool, playing dominoes in the water, while the grownups got to relax, sip coffee and unwind poolside, enjoying the fresh mountain air. We also explored nearby gems like Hacienda La Fe, the urban park, and a local coffee museum. Bonus points for the friendly and helpful host! Whether you’re a family, a couple, or just looking to recharge, Casa Carey is a mountain paradise you’ll want to visit again. Highly recommended!

Well beyond expectations. Casa De Playa is an amazing value. Right on the sea- you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves every day. The waves are right up to the house at high tide and their sound helped my husband with his tinnitus immensely . Doors and windows were easy to use and allow amazing views and breezes! The house was clean and comfortable on a quiet street. The kitchen had everything we needed. We felt immediately at home!

Amazing home with a gorgeous beach. Close to many of the best things to do in Mayaguez and Puerto Rico as a whole. Will most likely book when I go back this summer.

We loved our stay at Mara and Marks place! Waking up to the ocean in the morning, watching the sunset each evening and every peaceful moment in between was everything we were looking for. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the stainless steel cooking pots, aloe for sunburns, AC in the bedroom after a long day in the sun and access to a grill to cook on at sunset. Mark was responsive to all of our questions and a joy to meet! The location was close to everything. If you can plan your trip to include a Thursday it's worth visiting the art walk in the town square at night time! Great way to immerse in the local culture. I agree with other reviews that say to book this place if it's available. Don't hesitate! We hope to come back and enjoy this beautiful oasis again. Thanks for having us!

What more could you want than this view and this gorgeous beach all to yourself most mornings and evenings! Sleeping with the sound of the waves… this was a great space for our family, for the kids to swim, for meals in the kitchen and coffee on the balcony. We would love to come back again. Lovely location (a quick walk to the beach), fully equipped kitchen, and family friendly. The beaches and sunsets in the area were amazing. Our family loved spending time there and hope to come back very soon!!

Esteban’s a place was great to disconnect. It was very peaceful and quiet. Plus felt very safe and the views were amazing. Esteban was very attentive to our needs and made our stay happily pleasant.

A Perfect Getaway at Villa Caliza Villa Caliza exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and care. The villa is stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and surrounded by peaceful nature. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create a truly relaxing and luxurious experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. It felt like a home away from home, but better! If you’re looking for a serene escape with top-notch hospitality, I can’t recommend Villa Caliza enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We were a party of 8 adults, 5 kids, 1 baby and a dog that decided to spend spring break at Roger’s. The villa was spacious and comfortable, it accommodated our group and each other’s privacy with room to spare. The location is precious. Up in the mountain with spectacular views, and just 5mins away from the beach. The pool was a major entertainment for the children, giving the adults time to chill without having to leave the house. A major, island-wide, 48 hr power outage happened during our stay, luckily Roger’s villa was fully equiped with solar panels, batteries and water cistern. We were fortunate to have light, running water, fans and AC. He was responsive and very accessible throughout our stay. We’re definitely coming back!

Mejor lugar que me e quedado en mucho tiempo. Desde el destino interesante con muchos restaurantes y barritas . Desde allí puedes visitar a 20mn 4 pueblos . El vibe del apartamento en brutal , la vista , el agua , la tranquilidad. Es un rayo de sol ☀️!!!!!

Un perfecto lugar para desconectar y descansar en familia. 💯 recomendado. Para nosotros los adultos fue recordar los hogares de nuestros abuelas y los niños aprender. Muy buena idea experiencia y súper limpio.

The house is amazing, beautiful inside and out! Fernando was super responsive and helpful! Definitely a place worth every dollar, I definitely recommend and would stay there again!

El lugar esta super lindo y cómodo de llegar, La anfitriona muy amable y rápida contestando. La cama esta super cómoda en otros niveles, en fin pase un gran fin de semana en pareja. la unica cosa que le hace falta al apartamento que al menos no vi es una mesita pequeña para 2 para poder comer. pero este lugar es un 20/10

Es un lugar mágico con un mini supermercado, farmacia y puesto de gasolina todo dentro de 10 mins de distancia en carro. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar una estadia relajante y desconectado. Con wifi e inverter por si se va la luz y bbq y espacio para fogata para los más aventureros. Chulisimo el espacio. También queda muy cerca del Batey del Defin (tienen que llamar/escribir para coordinar visita). Me acabo de ir de la finca y ya quiero volver. Es una casita de ensueños.

Amazing place in which my family got to enjoy much needed family time. Only downside but nature of the beast is that it's kinda hard to get to and you must keep an eye of how late can you be away from the place since I wouldn't recommend anyone try to find their way at night to the location. It's nestle in the mountains and roads can be dangerous at night or when raining but that also makes the place magical and an awesone experience. Got to enjoy the nightsky with little to no light contamination, enjoyed the breeze and the local fauna, quite and peaceful with an amazing sight, loved hiking to the nearby river and enjoyed the water.

Natalie and her family are amazing and they were so helpful. We enjoyed our time there and definitely will be back

Great hosts; friendly; excellent taste in decor. Suggestion: when giving directions, say something like "100 meters or so east/south from the store, on the right hand side"; I had to drive back and forth on the highway to be sure I had the correct place!

Memorable ! Beautiful and peaceful. I stayed on different sides of the island and this location was by far the best to experience or. It was like a movie . If you love nature , and want to disconnect. This is it ! We did stumble across a beautiful restaurant “el cepo “ about 10 min away if you want to go out for dinner and drinks. Most likely you won’t even want to leave this place . Make Sure to bring your own food and drinks and relax with the view . ! Connect here . It’s healing
